You are in control of the treatment at all times and should expect to be treated with respect, courtesy and dignity.

Services

Remedial Massage 

This is the most common form of treatment provided.    Following an examination and functional testing, a combination of Massage techniques are applied to relieve tight or overstretched tissue and restore natural  movement and function. This includes addressing the cause of the condition as well as the symptoms, clients may be treated prone, supine, side lying or seated depending on the presenting condition. A small amount of lubricant is generally used to prevent chafing and analgesics may be used to reduce pain.

Sports Massage

Often accompanied by Ice treatment and taping, specific Massage techniques are used to assist in enhancing movement and  to aid in recovery from sporting injuries,

Myofascial Release

By slowly and gently applying stretch to the Fascia (the outer covering) of muscles they can be persuaded to release themselves and return to full function

Deep Tissue Massage

NOT A HARD MASSAGE!  Taking time and precision to slowly soften through layers of overlying tissues to work slowly and gently into the deeper parts of your body.

Cranio-Sacral Therapy Working very gently on the head, jaw,  and spinal column to relieve issued brought about by both emotional  and physical Trauma, this is a very gentle and relaxing treatment which has remarkable results.

Relaxation Massage A combination of massage techniques used to produce a feeling of calm and relaxation and relive stress.

Kinesio Taping (R)

Following specific muscle testing, a special tape is precisely applied to muscles to  either facilitate or inhibit their function to achieve improved movement, this technique is used by many sports stars including  Tennis greats the Williams Sisters and Li Na, international soccer players  etc.. it is the brightly coloured tape you see in graceful curves on their bodies. The Kinesio Taping® method, which has won over the likes of world-class athletes like David Beckham and Serena Williams, is a huge international phenomena that has taken the sports and medical world by storm.

.Kinesio® Tape, developed more than 30 years ago, is an elastic therapeutic tape used for treating sports injuries and a variety of other disorders. The use of the amazing Kinesio® Tape is a valuable therapeutic modality for injuries, correcting muscular function, improving blood circulation, reliefing pain and repositioning a dislocated joint

Kinesio Taping 

(R) is also used for reducing bruising and fluid build up in tissue, scar reduction and has proved effective for some post-natal conditions.

Functional Fascial Taping 

(R) A taping technique invented in Australia for The Australian Ballet, using rigid sports tape to  promote recovery from injury.

Sports taping

The traditional use of rigid sports tape to  protect and support joints.

Cupping

This ancient technique uses vacuum cups to relive a large number of conditions, it may leave marks on the skin for several days.

Gua-Sha

Another ancient Chinese technique using  skin scrapers to address Chinese accupoints and painful areas. Like cupping it may leave  marks that last for several days
