About Me

I first gained an interest in massage while I was working as a dancer with the Singapore Dance Theatre in 2001-2002. The company physiotherapist took me on as an apprentice helping her with maintenance and injury prevention programs for the other dancers. From there my interest in massage grew and I decided to take up a massage course. Upon completion of my Cert IV I began working as a massage therapist while upgrading my massage education to a diploma in Remedial Massage.

I have had a variety of experiences working with different clientele and in different work environments. I have worked with Novotel day Spa in Wollongong and the Spa Chakra Day Spa in Woolloomooloo Sydney, Spa Chakra Gstaad Switzerland. These being attached to their affiliated 5 star hotels. Following this I ran my own massage clinic in a Pilates International Studio in Chippendale Sydney.

My experience in the field massage therapy with athletes and dancers include working with dancers of Bangarra Dance Theatre, Queensland Ballet Company, and Hong Kong Ballet Company, West Australian Ballet Co.  I was also fortunate enough to have worked with the Australian Ballet Company 2005-09 under the guidance of their physiotherapist. From these varied work experiences I have gained valuable insight into working with clientele requiring remedial sports massage, as well as those requiring both general remedial or relaxation
massage.
