“I went here to get my nails done for a job interview. The ladies were nice and while I waited showed me the range of colours they had on offer. I am not someone who regularly gets my nails done, but I thought there could have easily been more variety.

The lady who did my nails was very nice and friendly, and the end result looked very professional. I couldn’t stop touching my nails! However, I was a bit taken aback at the price. But then again, I’m not someone who regularly does this type of thing, so I don’t really know what it would cost. The main reason I am giving it an average score is that the shellac started lifting after only a few days. I admit I had a hectic schedule where I was doing a lot of work with my hands, but it was very disappointing and it also left my nails in a less healthy state. Hope this review helps – other than the price and the fact that the polish didn’t last very long, I really enjoyed the experience I had at Revenir.”

“Reading the previous review, I am not surprised that the previous reviewer (sjv) will not return. Revenir is for regulars ONLY. Having been a client of theirs for the last 5 years, I have witnessed, on many occasions, the rude and stuck up nature of the management. The management will often answer the phone in a way that you wondered why you are even calling to make a booking. Unless you a regular, the staff and management make you feel that they do not have time for you. Even with the lack of staff making you feel like a valued client, I kept my regular waxing appointments with the lovely beauty therapist. Therapist was the only reason I ever returned. Each visit I paid over $120 for a XXX, Full Leg and Eyebrow Wax. I always knew this was excessive but continued to visit the salon. Many women will understand that once you have a bikini or XXX you tend to feel quite comfortable the beauty therapist. It was not until recently, that I truly felt that those ‘overhead costs with working in a shopping centre’, were more important that their own valued clients. Upon an emergency visit to the hospital it was necessary to cancel my Thursday night appointment. I will admit that an SMS was sent to me the previous day to confirm, which I willingly did. However, life never goes to plan and given that I had been a valued client for the last 5 years I figured that a simple reschedule would be understandable. I did not cancel but merely wanted to reschedule to the weekend. Upon calling the salon on Thursday morning at 9.01am, I felt humiliated when I was told that it was a full cancellation fee. That would mean upon my next visit I would be charged $240.00 for a XXX, Full Leg and Eyebrow Wax. Obviously, unsettled by this, I requested for a decrease in the cancellation fee. I was notified the following day that a fee of $50.00 would be charged instead upon my next visit. I appreciate that many would think that this is more than feasible and the salon was trying to accommodate, however I am done paying heavily for my waxing merely because the management needs to cover those overheads. I instead informed the Management, that I will no longer remain a client of Revenir. I was immediately surprised by their response, although now I don’t know why I was. Management answered ‘Ok, Thanks.’ Without likening my commitment to a relationship, clearly the last 5 years of loyalty have meant nothing to the management. I could have argued and upset myself by mentioning the following incidents over my 5 or booking with Revenir: – having been walked in on by other employees in the salon while receiving a XXX wax – having been waxed by a ‘trial employee’ which took twice the amount of time it should have – having been burnt multiple times in my inner thighs – having referred several clients to the salon No, instead I went on my way and looked into taking my business elsewhere. Again at the risk of sounding like a woman looking for love, I think I may have found a winner. I am truly excited about my upcoming appointment with other Salon that offer the convenience of online booking and I cannot forget to mention the reasonable price of $80 for a XXX, Full Leg and Eyebrow Wax. Thank for the service in the past 5 years Revenir, but your management should know that bad word of mouth travels 10 times more than any positive feedback. Here’s hoping management can make your valued clients feel appreciated that they have remained loyal. If you are thinking about making a booking into Revenir, I encourage you to go in to make your appointment. Perhaps then you can experience the hoity toity nature of this Salon and judge if it is the right one for you. If you have made a booking and need to cancel, make sure you do it within 24 hours (even if you are a regular).”
