Riccardo’s Barber Shop

Riccardo’s Barber Shop, is run and owned by Peter Ricciardo, the 3rd generation to run the salon in Paddington.

Established in 1961 by his grandfather and father, Pietro and Sam Ricciardo, four years after immigrating from Sicily.

Pietro retired in 1976, Peter started his training in 1987 and took over in 1994 with the semi retirement of Sam.

Over the years the salon has seen many changes in the types of people and trends that they wore.

While many barber shops were closing, Sam sent himself back to college to master longer hair-styles and techniques.

When Peter joined the business in 1987, this attitude of always keeping up to date with todays fashions and techniques has carried on.
