Established in 1997, Rivette & Blair began as a niche women’s career and occasion suiting business, and soon became renowned for stylish, high-quality, yet affordable apparel.

At at time when the marketplace delivered a limited range in the way of career suiting, Rivette & Blair offered suiting in a diverse array of cuts, colours, and textures, finally giving working women enhanced choice in their career wardrobes.

Our philosophy was and remains, to this day, to create a product that is of exceptional quality but affordable for our customers, and available in an environment where service excellence is a priority.

Customer feedback told us that women no longer wanted to purchase a single item that necessitated additional time and effort in the search for coordinating items and, in fact, preferred to purchase groups of items with mix and match capability.

In 2004, after frequent requests from our loyal customer base became difficult to ignore, we expanded our range to include casual day and weekend coordinates, and thus deliver a comprehensive collection of harmonious pieces from which a refined and economical wardrobe could be effortlessly curated.

With this expanded offer came complete range coordination, enabling customers to wardrobe build in consultation with our highly-trained service team.
