The Rodd & Gunn heritage dates back to 1946, when the brand’s first trademark logo – the English Pointer – was used on a boutique line of New Zealand made shirts.

In its current form, the brand was established in 1987 when the first stand alone store opened in Auckland’s Queen Street.

Rodd & Gunn is synonymous with quality, while taking its inspiration from New Zealand’s picturesque landscape. Rodd & Gunn’s philosophy is to create classic garments imbued with contemporary style and designed to stand the test of time.

The same attention to detail can be seen in our accessory collection, which includes hand-made leather luggage expertly crafted in New Zealand by a Hungarian family that boasts 80 years of experience in the leather business.

A Proud Sporting Tradition

Rodd & Gunn has a long association with sports that demand dedication, passion and the search for perfection – values that we hold true. Sports that reflect New Zealand’s proud sporting and cultural heritage, including traditional pursuits like polo, ocean racing and rugby union.

We’ve proudly dressed the famous New Zealand All Blacks and the country’s 2012 Olympic Team.

While in the prestigious world of ocean racing, Rodd & Gunn has put its name to one of the best yachts in the field. Rodd & Gunn Wedgetail is a custom Reichel/Pugh 55 launched in 2004 that has an impressive racing record in events that include the Rolex Trophy and Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race.

Most recently we sponsored Team New Zealand, Winners of the 2013 Youth Americas Cup.
