Robert Stephens and Theresa Stephens are the proprietors of S.A. Remedial Therapy Clinic.

Our aim is to provide exemplary clinical massage treatments in a professional caring manner. All practitioners adhere to a strict draping protocol to respect each and every client.

Established 2000.

Robert and Theresa are both fully qualified Remedial Massage Therapists having studied at the Australian College of Massage and Natural Therapies in Bendigo, Victoria to gain their Diploma in Health (Clinical Massage). They are members of the Australian Association of Massage Therapists, a nationally recognised association which enforces a strict code of ethics.

They have a vast experience in all matters relating to remedial massage and are happy to share with you their extensive wealth of knowledge.
OUR TEAM

Robert Stephens

Robert Stephens is the principal practitioner and manager at our city location. He also works one day per week at our Parkside Clinic. The city location means that he is surrounded by thousands of office workers who present to the clinic with all types of muscular problems resulting from poor posture, incorrect workstation ergonomics and general office stress. He also helps “weekend warriors” recover from their weekly sporting pursuits such as running and cycling, or the ‘friendly’ soccer match with the kids. Robert taught at a leading national massage college in Adelaide for several years.

Theresa Stephens

Theresa Stephens is the principal practitioner and manager at our Parkside location. She also manages our Corporate Massage section (see below). Theresa is a past President of the SA Branch of the Australian Association of Massage Therapists and lectured at a leading national massage college for 9 years.

Emily Zweck

Emily Zweck is a Remedial Massage Therapist (and Sports Trainer) with a passion for providing the best treatments for you whether it be sports related, workplace related or any other muscular problems you may have. She is also one of the current 2017 Adelaide Football Club (Crows) massage therapists and trainers for the men’s and women’s competition. Emily consults from our Gawler Place clinic on Wednesdays and will also be at our Parkside clinic on days yet to be announced.

Clinical Massage.

Treatment sessions include a history take and assessment followed by various remedial techniques including sports massage, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, PNF stretching… just to name a few.  It is suitable for recovery from muscular trauma, sporting injuries, headache and stress relief or simply for relaxation. We offer appointment times ranging from 1/2 an hour to 1.5 hour treatments to suit your needs.
Aged Pensioner, Full-Time Student and Bicycle SA member concessions are available. Please enquire about your eligibility for a discount at the time of booking. Some private health fund rebates also apply.

Corporate Massage.

Treatments are carried out at your work place seated in a specially designed chair and performed over clothing. Treatments include an assessment followed by various remedial techniques including sports massage, trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage typically lasting 15-20min per person. Please note that a minimum booking of two hours is required.
It is suited for businesses that are interested in the health and wellbeing of their staff. Helps reduce office stress.
