“wow this ‘salon’ -if thats what you would like to call it is disgusting! customer service? N/A hygien? N/A- the salon stunk, it was filthy, the bins were over flowing. I went in for ‘IPL treatment’ ‘take of ya pants ill be in in a minute’ – no disposable gstring, no towel provided…. ok?? the bed was filthy, with products left from previous client left on it, when i asked if they would clean it got nothing but attitude, no patch test done OR gel applied prior to treatment ( which i just recently found out is extremely important. ) The treatment was extremely painful, and obvious I was finding extremely uncomfortable they didn’t even ask if i was ok/if id like the equipment to be turned down just a laugh and ‘yeh hurts more than the home IPL equipment hey!?’ I bought four sessions of scoupon and stupidly didn’t read the reviews, i had booked another session for 4 weeks later and just couldn’t mentally bring myself to go back in i tried calling for well over a week (in business hours mind you) to cancel, left voice messages no response until the morning of my appointment, i got a text message. When i rung the staff they were so rude and said its not their problem that the salon was busy and if i was to miss my appointment my voucher would be forfeited. didn’t even care you know what.”
“Hi Donna, I am sorry about your experience at Safarii. Our staff are highly trained and professional and would never say “take ya pants off I’ll be in a minute” Maybe you misunderstood it for “If you could please take your bottom half off I will give you a minute” We do a thorough consultation before performing any IPL treatment and patch tests are only needed if a client could be contraindicated to any of the questions, or if they were unsure of the treatment. If you had asked us to do a patch test we would have been more then happy to perform one! As for the Gel we ALWAYS apply gel even though our machine has its own cooling system and doesn’t necessarily need it. We always start new clients on the lowest settings and work our way up which is all explained when filling out the consult. None of our staff would laugh at a client in distress either! We always call our clients back that leave us messages so I’m not too sure what your talking about with the last part.”
“If I could give a zero I would!! This place knows nothing about customer service, occupational health and safety or how to do their job! Are they even qualified??? Filthy entrance! Dust everywhere on products on the shelves including sand and leaves around clogging up the front door! Had to wait for management to acknowledge I was waiting to be served whilst management continued to text on the phone! After confronting management about it and asking for a name, management then retaliated by accusing me for being abrupt! The nerve!! Management then proceeded to advise marital problems were of greater concern. A concern that should not be made known to customers. Def will not be returning.”
