Originally opening its doors in 1953, renowned local barber Jon Vegin held the store for 43 years before passing it on to Salisbury local Alyssa Jones.

16 years on, Alyssa has continued Jon’s work and created a shop that encompasses the ideals of style, class and masculinity.

With a small and dedicated team of staff, the Salisbury Barbers experience is one of home-grown knowledge and expert skill.

The shop is reminiscent of the barbershops of past, with a warm interior, hardwood floors and wide mirrors, but Salisbury Barbers is more than a barbershop.

The shop is somewhere men can come to relax, socialise and stay sharp.

Specialising in traditional cuts and shaves, the shop has gained a steady clientele over a number of years, with Alyssa’s team ever growing and adapting to the contemporary styles relevant today.

After 58 years of operation, Salisbury Barbers retains a 100% return customer rate, with many regulars still remembering their first cuts all those years ago.
