Kylie Clark is the owner of Salon Tallow and Kylie knows hair!

With over 25 years’ experience in the hairdressing industry, working in salons for some of the world leading hair care and beauty brands such as Clinique, Wella, L’Oreal Professionel, Redken and Pureology.

Her hairdressing background has been the grounding that has catapulted her through an amazing career from hairdresser, educator and state sales to National Sales Manager for the L’Oreal Group. Kylie understands that none of her career success could have been possible without an in-depth understanding of the foundations of hairdressing and most importantly, client needs and expectations.

She is passionate about hairdressing and has worked alongside and trained some of the best the industry has to offer. She has travelled internationally to attend events and worked backstage at numerous fashion week events.

Kylie is a mum of two beautiful girls Willow and Tallula and they have been the inspiration for her to open her own salon in Balmain- Salon Tallow.

Her and her husband Darren have been Balmain residents for over 20 years and are entrenched in the local lifestyle and believe they understand the local clientele and their needs.

Her salon is beautifully designed and makes you feel at home and relaxed as soon as you enter. She has also incorporated a spray tan service, with the only St Tropez spray booth in the local area. Kylie believes in quality product and has a retail offer that includes Redken and Pureology which has zero sulphates and is 100% vegan. Salon Tallow also stocks a specialised kid’s range – Eco Kids, which includes a certified organic range of lice treatment and retail products.

She believes in giving her clients the best one on one service and creating an environment that is welcoming and calm and she aims to make everyone feel as if they are part of her salon family.
