Company Overview

Samios Plumbing Supplies was first opened in 1947 by a father and son team in Stones Corner, trading as a plumbing, hardware and earthmoving business

. In 2004 the BGW Group purchased the plumbing side of the business, which was a perfect extension to CNW Electrical, the foundation business of BGW Group’s ever-expanding brand portfolio.

The BGW Group now incorporates more than fifteen 100% Australian privately owned and operated businesses with more than 1,100 staff in over 100 convenient locations throughout Australia.

In addition to plumbing and electrical wholesale and retail outlets, the BGW Group has complimentary businesses which supply an extensive range of specialist products and solutions in the following areas:

• Utility monitoring, management and efficiency;
• Electronic security solutions;
• Building, construction, and maintenance

Cadetship Program

Another way in which Samios Plumbing Supplies is showing its commitment to the youth of Australia is through our cadetship program.

It allows school leavers to begin an apprenticeship with us that involves formal study, as well as on the job training at one of our branches.

This program covers all areas of the business from stock management, to customer service, and purchasing.
