Musculoskeletal Therapy (MST) is a hands on therapy working holistically to identify, treat and manage musculoskeletal pain or injury in any region of the body.

Thorough physical examination including functional and neurological testing establish the cause of the pain and dysfunction enabling a comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation plan which address that cause, not simply relieve symptoms

Musculoskeletal Therapists employ a range of techniques such as joint and neural mobilizations, dry needling, muscle energy technique and soft tissue release to provide greater range of movement and reduction of pain more efficiently than experienced through traditional massage therapy.

Postural retraining, nutritional methods and exercise prescription are also utilized to prolong effects of the treatment and to help keep you free from pain

Shannon White holds her Bachelor of Health Science in Musculoskeletal Therapy and Diploma of Remedial Massage with 10 years industry experience.

While specializing in sports massage, she has had an extensive clientele list including the Brisbane Broncos, Waikato Cheifs, St. George Illawarra Dragons, Queensland Ballet, Firebirds, Queensland Reds and the Wallabies.

She believes treatment is not only an integral part of any training regime, but a necessity for the prevention and recovery from injuries of everyday life and to achieve greater levels of strength and flexibility.

With experience working alongside other highly skilled healthcare professionals, elite level athletes and industry leaders, Shannon has developed and perfected the skills to ensure that she gives her clients the most comprehensive and efficient results for whichever symptoms they present.
