Reviews

“I have been using the back block and doing knee exercises for ?two months? The improvement in my mobility has been amazing – walking, standing, dancing! Still got a way to go but I can’t thank you enough. This morning I achieved Child Pose on the floor – I couldn’t believe it, had a bit of a cry! I am so inspired”

“I dread to think where I’d be if I hadn’t found Sarah in 2006. I had had chronic back pain for years and painful feet for at least 12 months. I had tried chiropractors, osteopaths, acupuncture, but nothing gave me relief for more than a couple of days.

Sarah was the only person who diagnosed me with a mild scoliosis (no-one else had been able to explain my pain). She got rid of my foot pain in one session (it was coming from my lower back) and my back pain in 2 or 3 sessions helped along by me doing my BackBlock exercises which I’ve done ever since. Occasionally I go back for a treatment, if I’ve done something silly to knock my back around again, but in general, life without back pain is wonderful!

Sarah’s treatments work. It’s that simple.”

“Beyond felling physically great after a treatment, the best thing about seeing Sarah and her team is that I now understand what is going on with my back and am empowered to help myself. Unlike so much of the health profession, Sarah builds capability not dependence which I deeply appreciate every day as I rebuild my own health. Thank you Sarah, Elisha and the team!”

“You have changed my life. Last weekend I went sea kayaking for the first time in seven years, all thanks to you.

I’m 53, and have had a long history of annoying back troubles, until I crashed my mountain bike. That kicked off massive problems and a long progressive deterioration to the point where I was even starting to consider spinal fusion (which I’d refused to accept for years). I’d given up cycling, kayaking and motorcycling even walking was starting to get too hard.

I started looking for something (and someone) new when I started to get a (literally) breathtaking pain in my lower back, like a nail being hammed into my lumbar spine (and I was told the spine can’t feel pain, so maybe it was all in my head…).

Then I found your page. You told me why my attempts at strengthening my core wasn’t working (sit ups & the plank), why the harder I tried, the worse I failed. You explained the nail jammed into my spine. You understood the extent to which it was grinding me down. Finally you told me I could do something about it.

It been two years now. Thankfully the intense pain of ‘the nail’ went almost straight away, the rest has taken longer, (confidence even longer) but my back has now been spasm free for most of that two years.

By luck I found a great masseuse who’s been far more help than my old physio, I might not be 25 again, but I don’t’ feel 85 either. I’ve been road cycling again for over a year now, river kayaking all this summer, and now back on the sea last weekend, even starting to look at that mountain bike again….

All for the cost of a couple of books.
Thank You Sarah.”

“most scientific piece of information on back pain. her explanations are very convincing.”
