Sarong Hut Australia was Founded by Former Swimwear Model, Bernadette Foy who leads the small, Sydney based team with prime focus on Delivery, Quality Control and importantly, consistently fresh designs.

FOUNDER

Former swimwear model, Bernadette Foy, our founder is certainly entrepreneurial; always in the driver seat of life and business.

Bernie was inspired to design sarongs when the Sarong loving girl could not find sarongs in Australia, so in September 2012, Bernie opened up the online store, Sarong Hut Australia. Bernie now designs not just sarongs, but all things Aussie ‘beachwear’.

My Favourite way to spend a Sunday afternoon – In summer, that would be a BBQ with family and friends. Winter would be… an afternoon of lounging about in my PJ’s doing as little as humanly possible.

Best part about working at Sarong Hut is – Travelling (kind of feels like running away from home… I probably shouldn’t like that… but then I love it when I arrive back home!)

My dream holiday location is – Hiking through South America with my husband for a week followed by another week of some serious sun worshipping time by a pool with some quality chick lit.

Truth be told, it’s really Cassie Cale who runs the show at Sarong Hut! With a background in all things management and administration, Cassie looks after workflows, processes and just about everything else under the sun.

My Favourite way to spend a Sunday afternoon – Hanging out with my tween-age boys and adorable husband.

Best part about working at Sarong Hut is – the variety! Being such a young business, we work at a pretty fast pace and it’s never ever dull.

My dream holiday location is – The Maldives!
