Reviews
“I was a little scared after discovering the very uncomplimentary reviews
I was immediately put at ease as soon as I walked through the door by the smiling face of the lovely Jenny and of course it all became clear as it was revealed that it is now under new management.
It was relaxing, excellent service and reasonably priced. I will certainly be back.”
“Just finished a course in IPL, I’m so happy with the results! Very friendly professional clinic offering a really great price, Next month I will start another area to have IPL done on. I also love the easy to use on-line booking system.”
“I bought a promotional voucher for this place on a social site. I understand that it will probably hard to get an appointment as the deal was purchased by quite a lot of people. But I never expect that I’ll be fronted by an extremely rude and arrogant woman on the phone when I tried to make the appointment. And as soon as I mentioned I’ve got a voucher, she told me there won’t be any availability until 4 months later (9 months from the time I purchased the voucher). I was also told off for not checking her opening hours beforehand on her website, which inconveniently was not mentioned on her website. She also went on to tell me how there is no full-time receptionist and that she has 25 IPL customers a day. I told her that it’s unnecessary, but she told me that she TOLD me it’s important that customers understand how things work there and how they operate. I was told off during the whole conversation and she finished it off by asking me if I understood what she told me. She kept asking until I said yes.”
“I ended up with burns which blistered. Did not leave scarring once healed, but left hypo pigmentation in the form of pale rectangle marks from the IPL head.
When I spoke to the “specialist” about it she showed no empathy whatsoever and brushed it off as something that just happens with some patients.
She said she would call me back to fit in another appointment but never did, needless to say that’s probably a good thing!”
“If you are looking for a salon that charges twice the going price for services, which will be carried out by a RUDE, bored, stuck-up cow who will leave you scarred, then this is the place for you.
I arrived for my appt. on time to find the shop closed. The woman (mutton dressed as lamb) sauntered up a few minutes later to ask me what I wanted. I told her that I had an appointment and she told me I was wrong, that she had no appointments that afternoon and went on to make me feel quite idiotic for thinking that I had an appointment. She was rude and condescending and spoke to me like I was a naughty child. After she agreed to do the treatment, she looked in her book and lo and behold I did have an appointment, she had just overlooked it. Apology? Nope not even so much as a ‘woops’.
I had my treatment, a facial, and the entire time I was subjected to her non-stop inane drivel….”*I bet you noticed my skin, didn’t you, *my* skin is amazing, *I’ve* had it analyzed and it is flawless, *my* skin is just so perfect, *my* boyfriend thinks it looks so great, people stop *me* in the street to ask *me* what *I* use on *my* skin, isn’t it just so smooth, *I* bet you wouldn’t believe *my* actual age (me to myself…I think you are in your 50’s and that you are just wearing a ton of makeup)
Anyway, getting past her irritating, self congratulating verbal diarrhea, the facial was OK, nothing special. I told her I had sensitive skin, which she ignored, so I came out quite red and itchy but it would have been adequate for anyone who didn’t have sensitive skin.
I asked to add a bit of IPL to the end of the session. I wanted 1 hair removed, just 1 hair. She wanted $80 for 1 hair. It was a nipple hair and the nipple area costs $80 she tells me, doesn’t matter that it is only 1 hair. So what the hell I went for it. It was sooooo painful that I almost screamed, ‘Did that hurt a bit?’ she asked as she zapped the same area again! Hell yeah that hurt. ‘It will stop feeling hot in about an hour’ I was told. It did not fell hot, it hurt like hell and the pain didn’t subside in an hour. When I got home I looked at my nipple and she had burnt it to the point that I had several blisters and little scabs on my nipple! Yes that hurts as much as you would expect and goes on hurting for almost 2 weeks.
Do yourself a favour, if you value your health, stay away from this unskilled, unfeeling, narcissistic woman. If I could give her 0 stars I would have.
Oh yeah and when in the future you find a rush of reviews giving her 5 stars and saying how wonderful she is, you will know it is her trying to boost her reputation up from the 3 1 star reviews she has received so far.”
