Based in the community shopping centre of Pemulwuy Marketplace we have plenty of off street parking and a bus stop right at our door.

All of our stylists are trained in the latest looks for cuts and colour and our training program is ongoing so we are ready for the next trend.

We use and recommend our own brand of home hair care which is made from the finest organic ingredients.

Scissor Trix is really about you, more than that our salon is about making our clients’ experience something to talk about!

Originally opened as a franchise salon on 8th September, 2005 we were one of the original shops in the Centre known as Pemulwuy Marketplace.

It has been a wonderful experience getting to know all the residents as they have moved into the developments of Nelson’s Ridge, Lakewood and Pemulwuy back then there were only 189 people, at the last check this has swelled to 2000 residences.

We changed the name of the salon to SCISSOR TRIX in November 2009 and we have never looked back!

We are all about hair and offer a full range of services and retail products.  Your hair style says a lot about you and we can help to make those all important first impressions in your personal and professional life.

Helping you in a very comfortable and laid back atmosphere to find the right style whether you are interested in a totally new creation, need something for a special event or just want some expert help in selecting one of the many options available to bring out your personal best giving you a healthy shining, flattering and easy to manage style.

2012 will continue to be all about rewarding our loyal clients by way of our new Loyalty Rewards Club, launching in February new clients can become a member when spending $40 or more on any one service or by purchasing a membership for $10 which will give you a Gift Card valued at $20 to use on your next service within six weeks, a scratch and win product prize and a key tag to keep and present each time you come into the salon to earn more points.   There’s also one to give to a friend so they can benefit from our services too, not to mention when they use it you get bonus points too.

We have a weekly blow-dry service for a discounted price great if you want the convenience of an in salon wash and style without the cost!

Colouring

We use and recommend DNA Hair colour as it is made from the finest organic ingredients, is gentle on the scalp and has an ammonia free range.

Grey coverage is not a problem either!

Straightening

The Frizz Endz Ultimate de-frizz System developed in Brazil, using a keratin protein infused into the hair shaft, leaving the hair incredibly soft, smooth and shiny.

Shine smoothness AND frizz free!

For those who want a more permanent straightening we now use KERALISH cheratina total straightening system.

Finally, there is a system for obtaining straight, ultra luminous hair. Even from originally curly or unruly hair.
