Our beginnings…

Established in 2000, Seed Heritage began as a childrenswear boutique with a single shopfront in Armadale, Victoria. From day one, our focus has been on beautiful, unique designs and products made from natural fibres and fabrics. Our range expanded to include a baby collection, followed by women’s apparel and later a range for teens.  Since then, we’ve launched Collection, a women’s capsule range of sophisticated, luxe, trend-led styles, and Seed Party!, a fun, sparkly range for girls aged 1 to 10.

If you are a first time customer with us we may require additional information to enable your order to be processed.  We do this as a safe guard for both you and Seed Heritage. Please note: Occasionally customs inspections may also delay delivery by a few days. Postal charges do not include possible taxes and duties which may be applied by customs in the country where the order is delivered. The responsibility for any customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may be imposed, will rest with the customer. To comply with Australian export regulations, we are required to declare the exact value of all items ordered and to mark them as dutiable “merchandise”. We are also prohibited by law from marking the order as a “gift”, even if order is placed with the intention of sending to a gift recipient. For further information, it may be necessary to call local customs offices to gain further details.

With the exception of laws relating to customs and to taxes and duties on imported goods, the parties agree that the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia apply to this transaction. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria in relation to any dispute in relation to the sale and purchase of goods.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

DO I QUALIFY FOR A RETURN?
In order to qualify for a refund or exchange all items must be unworn, with the tags attached and provided with a receipt. Please note that should you wish to return or exchange an item in store the store must stock the respective department. All full priced items, excluding lingerie, swimwear, cosmetics and jewellery (unless faulty) can be returned within 14 days of purchase or delivery (if purchased online). Please note that sale and outlet items are not eligible for a change of mind return. Sale items are classified by a red markdown sticker or found under the sale and outlet categories online. Styles that are purchased during a promotional period (for example 20% off storewide) are eligible to be returned for a full refund and/or exchange.

FREE RETURNS WITH PAYPAL
If you need to send something back, PayPal will refund your return shipping costs on eligible purchases with Refunded Returns.*

This service is available at no additional cost to PayPal account holders who have registered for it at www.paypal.com.au/returns and used PayPal to pay for their online order.

Please note this service is provided by PayPal and all enquiries should be directed to PayPal customer service.

*Up to 8 refunds per PayPal account for eligible purchases per 12 month period. A cap of $45 per refund request applies. The Refunded Returns service is offered by PayPal Pty. Ltd, in partnership with TELUS International Europe, the service provider.

Seed Heritage is committed to the safe and ethical manufacture, sourcing and supply of goods and services.

This includes the application of a strict Code of Supplier Conduct that is subject to ongoing audits to ensure best practice.

Seed has an ongoing commitment to:

Sourcing merchandise that is produced according to the company’s strict principles of safe working conditions, where human rights are respected and people have free right of association.
Dealing only with vendors who at minimum provide the working conditions and benefits stipulated by law and whose workers (employees and contractors) are treated and compensated fairly, provided safe working conditions, and not exposed to any physical harm.
Enforcing a Code of Supplier Conduct practice that is subject to ongoing review and ensures transparency from vendors and that best practice measures are followed.

WASH GUIDES
True style stands the test of time. That’s why we’ve performed rigorous quality testing to ensure your garment stays a statement in your wardrobe for as long as possible. Each garment is different, and requires special care for its specific materials. Take care of them according to their needs, as listed on the garment care label, and they’ll continue to look good – as will you – for a long time.

HOW TO WASH

Give your whites, darks and colours the special attention they need. Wash each colour group separately
Wash garments with contrast trims or panels separately, especially your blacks and whites. The fabrics have been designed to be washed together, but may absorb dye from other garments
Before your slip into your new favourite jeans, give them a wash inside out first
Wash your denim and coated fabrics inside out to protect the fabric and depth of colour

Viscose and jersey natural materials can stretch in the wash. Use a steam iron to bring your garments back to perfect form
Hand-wash your fringe; save time untangling
Woollen garments need to be treated delicately. Follow the care instructions and either hand wash, or select a gentle setting on your washing machine. Avoid soaking woollen garments for more than an hour. Always dry them flat to prevent stretching
We use high quality leather, and recommend you leave care to the experts. Find a good dry cleaner to keep your leather garments in top condition

TOP FABRIC TIPS

IRONING
Keep the heat down low with delicate items, and always follow the instructions on your garment to avoid damage.

DRY CLEANING
Some things are best left to the professionals. Dry cleaning instructions are specific to a style or material, and your garment’s care label will tell you what it needs.

GIFT CARDS – TERMS & CONDITIONS
TERMS

You and any person who uses a Gift Card agree to be bound by these terms.

THE GIFT CARD

The Gift Card is a payment tool for use as follows:

Traditional Gift Card and eGift Card in Australia: At our Australian Website or in store at any SEED HERITAGE Australia store, excluding SEED HERITAGE Australia concession stores (MYER and David Jones); and
Traditional Gift Card in New Zealand: At any SEED HERITAGE New Zealand Store, excluding SEED HERITAGE New Zealand concession stores (Ballantyne’s and David Jones).

Gift Cards can be redeemed all at once, or can be used repeatedly until the Gift Card balance reaches zero. If a transaction value exceeds the remaining balance on a Gift Card, you must pay the difference directly to the SEED HERITAGE store using alternative means of payment acceptable to the SEED HERITAGE store.

You cannot:

Load additional credit onto a Gift Card;
Redeem a Gift Card for cash;
Use a Gift Card to purchase another Gift Card; or
Return a Gift Card if you change your mind
