Sharon Livingstone graduated from Nature Care College (Sydney) in early 2000 with a Diploma of Remedial Massage and a Diploma of Sports Therapies, and began her career as a massage therapist shortly afterwards.

Previously running clinics within doctors’ rooms, a private fitness studio, North Shore Physiotherapy in St Leonards and a natural therapies clinic in McMahons Point, Sharon is now established within Military Road Physiotherapy in Neutral Bay.

As a sports massage therapist, Sharon has worked with Northern Suburbs Rugby, Eastwood Rugby, Mosman Cricket, triathletes, marathon runners, swimmers, dancers, basketballers, sprinters and tennis players and coaches.

Taking into consideration the client’s lifestyle, hydration, nutrition, sleep patterns, work habits and exercise routine, treatments involve a mixture of remedial and sports massage techniques as well as modalities where further study has been undertaken, including:

Sharon is renowned for using her experience and expertise to tailor a treatment that focuses on the client’s presenting problem. As part of providing the best possible treatment, Sharon will liaise with other health care professionals to achieve timely recovery from injury and prevent recurrence.

Sharon is qualified to treat women during pregnancy.

Sharon holds a current Working with Children Check certificate to enable treatments to be performed on children (under 18 years) without the need for a parent/guardian to be present.

As a member of the Association of Massage Therapists, Sharon operates to a strict Code of Practice. In addition, Sharon adheres to the NSW Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) Code of Conduct – which is displayed within the clinic.

Outside of the treatment room, Sharon is an avid follower of cricket, rugby, netball and EastEnders, is a keen walker, loves reading a good book and enjoys creative writing. In fact, Sharon has published a book of very short stories called Red Inks.
