STORY

Skilled Plumbing started as a Sole Trader in 1997 and has been operating as Skilled Plumbing Drainage and Gasfitting PTY LTD since 2006. We are based in Belrose on Sydney’s North Shore and we provide expert plumbing services to all areas around Sydney. We are a well-established company that pride ourselves on meeting client’s expectations and delivering first class, high quality workmanship on all of our projects.
Our work ranges from inspections, testing, fault finding, alterations, installations, maintenance servicing and repairs in the areas of Commercial, Contract work, Strata, Council, Aged Care and Charitable Associations. We currently supply plumbing, drainage, gasfitting, preventative and reactive maintenance to Warringah Council, Sunnyfield Association and Allity Aged Care Pty Ltd, Strata Power, North Harbour Strata, Real Property Services, Bright and Duggan Strata and Transfield Services Lane Cove Tunnel and M2.
We have a current Staff Agreement in regards to ‘After Hour’s Rosters’ with these Clients and are more than capable of supplying additional labour in times of emergency. All calls to Skilled Plumbing Drainage and Gasfitting Pty Ltd if unanswered will be directed to the ‘rostered on call’ Plumber.
Skilled Plumbing Drainage and Gasfitting Pty Ltd recognises the inherent dangers of handling asbestos and as such has a policy of educating employees of all risks associated with the various products containing asbestos. It is our policy to only engage suitably licensed contractors to handle both non friable and friable asbestos.
Skilled Plumbing Drainage and Gasfitting Pty Ltd maintains membership of the Industry body ‘Master Plumbers Association’ as it is of the greatest importance to us that we always comply with the most recent revisions of all relevant Codes of Practice, Australian Standards and WH&S Policies. We employ a dedicated WH&S Officer who is in regular contact with the ‘Master Plumbers Association’ to make sure that our WH&S policy is always up to date. Each employee has access to an electronic device containing our full WH&S Policy (as well as a hard copy) to ensure safe work practices are maintained on a daily basis.
Skilled Plumbing Drainage and Gasfitting Pty Ltd conduct on average 6 job-audits per week to check that our WH&S, Client satisfaction and Employee performance is maintained to our Quality and Safety Standards.

Plumbing works included in these Tenders are (but not limited to):

• Servicing and Repairs to sewer and Stormwater Pump Out Systems at Surf Clubs, Nursing Homes and Unit blocks
• Annual Thermostatic Mixing Valves services to Warringah Council, Allity Aged Care Pty Ltd and Sunnyfield Association
• Annual Backflow Prevention testing and servicing to Warringah Council, Allity Aged Care Pty Ltd, Sunnyfield Association, Strata Power, Transfield Services and North Harbour Strata
• Replacements and repairs of Commercial and Domestic Hot Water Tanks
• All general Plumbing, Drainage and Gasfitting, Maintenance and Construction
We currently have 3 vehicles on the road, all stocked and equipped with all necessary tools and materials to be highly capable of servicing our current tenders and Warringah Council should we be successful in our Tender application.
As a current service provider to Warringah Council we maintain and carry out all preventative, reactive maintenance and construction on facilities such as Warringah Aquatic Centre, Glen Street Theatre, Brookvale Oval and all Surf Clubs and their equipment as well as all Community Facilities. We feel that we have the resources, staff and also an insight into the specific needs of Warringah Council to continue this service to the highest standards.
