“I purchased 4 scoopons for eyebrow wax at $5 each. So far I have used 2. Both times I rang for appt I was given one on the day and time I requested. Yes the salon is a bit dated but it is clean. The therapist was very friendly and gave me advice for my daughter about becoming a beauty therapist. The waxing took about 20 mins and I was very happy with the end result. My second visit was just as pleasing. I have no complaints whatsoever and would have no hesitation going back.”

“I bought a Scoopon for this place and I’m very disappointed. for weeks I have tried to make an appointment, and was promised to get a call back, but no one ever rang, or no one at their shop answered the phone. Now, the voucher is nearly expired and when I called today, they said that they have left voice messages on my mobile (strangely I have never received any from them) and that they don’t have an appointment available anymore until the voucher expires. I was very keen in using my voucher and I am very disappointed that I can’t go anymore… Why do companies do this voucher stuff when they don’t have the capacity to serve the amount of people that buy them??”

“I bought a Scoopon for a facial at Skin and Tonic. 2.5 hours before my appointment, I received a phone call that my appointment had to be cancelled. I was assured that they would call back later that day to reschedule my appointment. Towards the end of the day, I hadn’t heard from them, so I called myself to reschedule the appointment. Not only they were very unaccommodating, they were also rude and the manager even shouted at me over the phone and slammed the phone down to hang up! DO NOT GO THERE EVER! Do you really want such rude people to be going anywhere near your face?!!”

“I purchased a $49 scoopon voucher- advertised as 1.5hr including Dermalogica Pamper Package -Facial + Mini-Manicure with Polish of Your Choice + Pressure Point Head & Neck Massage + Essential Oil Hand & Arm Massage + Eyebrow Wax & Shape. Firstly, I rang the day after I received the voucher and was shocked to be booked in only 3 weeks later! And they even gave me an afternoon timeslot. Things were looking good at this point. Well…. the actually service I received was 40mins. I went into the room at 5:20 , 10 mins given to undress (took 30 secs), then the service went from 5:30-6:09. Yes I was timing it! The service I got in that time was certainly nothing like what was advertised. I received the facial, manicure & eyebrow wax. I did NOT receive the essential oil & hand massage. No oil touched my hands or arms and there was no massage. I received a 20second neck massage- head wasn’t touched. This left me feeling VERY disappointed! It didn’t even last long enough for the nail polish to dry so now I’m left with smudged, dented nails. The facial was nice- but nothing special. Nice relaxing music, quiet environment. Not impressed with the eye brow wax- a professional salon would ask questions about how you like them waxed. I wasn’t even given a mirror to check them out! When I left they gave me a price list. Do they honestly believe that I would consider paying full price for that? I will not be going to this place again- disappointing because it is so close to my work.”
