FRAC3 Skin Rejuvenation
FRAC3 is a new method of non-ablative skin fractionation which is revolutionizing anti-ageing and skin tightening. FRAC3 produces a 3 dimentional fractional pattern which allows the nd:YAG laser to especially target skin imperfections. This stimulates the skin’s natural ability to form new collagen, making the skin feel tighter and more youthful . Best still, there is almost no down time, meaning FRAC3 is becoming known as the ‘Lunchtime Facelift’.

Green Toning
Green Toning is a new form of non-ablative skin rejuvenation. It combines the 1064nm nd:YAG for deep dermal heating and new elastin formation together with 532nm KTP to remove superficial pigmentation and microvascular imperfections. Especially useful in the treatment of melasma, downtime is again minimal.

Spider Veins
Spider veins are small dilated blood vessels that can appear on the nose, cheeks, legs and other parts of the body. By using a specific wavelength of laser that is absorbed by these blood vessels, we can non-invasively break them down so they can be cleared by the body’s own immune system. Often only one treatment is required.

Skin Pigmentation
YAG is particularly suitable for treatment of brown coloured spots such as freckles, sun spots, age spots and more. The combination of the 1064nm together with the 532 nm KTP targets both deep and superficial pigmentations for effective removal by the body’s own immune system.

Onychomycosis has previously been a notoriously difficult to treat fungal infection of the nails. By using the laser to evenly penetrate the nail and underlying skin we can eradicate the fungus and allow normal nail to regrow. The procedure is safe, painless and avoids potential side effects of other long term medications.

Rosacea
Rosacea is a condition where enlarged blood vessels make the face look flushed or red. The Fotona laser can significantly reduce these symptoms and often one treatment is enough.

Skinfinity was founded by Dr. Paul Beyer and Dr. Sylvia Palanca

Dr. Paul Beyer MBBSDr. Beyer graduated from the University of Melbourne Medical School in 1991. Whilst working in Emergency Medicine in some of Melbourne’s leading major hospitals, he has been heavily involved in the development and manufacturing of medical devices for some of Australia leading public companies. His interest in cutting edge technology led him to partner with Fotona to provide a new standard in the treatment of skin pigmentations. Dr. Beyer is a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. Sylvia Palanca MBBS FACEMSince graduating from the University of Melbourne Medical School in 1991, Dr. Palanca has had a wide and enviable range of medical practice. She currently divides her time working as a specialist in some of Melbourne’s leading emergency departments and also providing state of the art laser based skin therapies. Dr. Palanca is a Fellow of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine.
