smooth hair is the brainchild of co-owners and principal stylists Mel Johnson and Letitia Guillou.

Mel and Letitia worked together for a number of years prior to opening smooth and decided to combine their talents in their own boutique style salon.

This march we will have been open for 11 years and from day one the aim was to create a salon that combined cutting edge techniques with an inviting and non-intimidating culture. Having started life with a staff of just two, the salon now employs a team of six stylists.
