Craig is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma of Advanced Accounting. He has been providing superannuation services since 1986, when he commenced his career with KPMG Brisbane. Craig commenced self employment in 1996 and quickly gravitated toward SMSF audit work.

Today he leads an energetic team who rank as the number one SMSF auditing team in Australia, providing audit services to a wide range of clients – from small firms located in suburban, regional and country areas to large accounting financial services firms in every state.

Due to his extensive experience working in the SMSF sector, Craig, along with his team is highly experienced in most issues that could be encountered by a fund during its life cycle. As such, SMSF Audits is one of Australia’s most highly sought after independent SMSF auditing firms, with the majority of audits completed efficiently, effectively, on time and on budget. Craig and his team can also provide proactive, value added, advisory services and advice to clients who require that extra assistance.

Craig grew up in Brisbane and is an active member of the Brisbane Racing Club . He owns a number of thoroughbreds which are trained at Eagle Farm by Bryan Dais These include group three winner and group one placed Latin News and city winners Beggin, Saturday city winner Gallinari, and boom listed winner Keep the Faith colt Soldi Domani.

As an experienced taxation and accountancy professional, Maria will help your clients safely navigate through the complex legal framework of Self Managed Super Funds compliance and auditing.

Maria’s formal qualifications include a Masters of Taxation from the UNSW and a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy with a Second Major in Taxation & Business Law from the University of Queensland (QUT – Gardens Point). Maria has CPA status through the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants, as well as 14 years’ experience with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), which has given her a unique insight into taxation policy and its implications for individuals and small businesses.

At SMSF Audits, Maria manages our team to ensure that the funds submitted to us from accountants, administrators, financial planners and lawyers are diligently and independently audited according to ATO requirements.
