Salon history; Sophistication was established in late Aug 2001.. We were previously located at 359 Hawthorn rd, Caulfield South..

Where for 9 & 1/2 years we established a great hair salon with a loyal following..

The move; In January 2011 we moved to 621 Hawthorn rd, Brighton East..

We were very proud to announce that we now own this shop, and plan to be here for years to come..and all this with the same, one owner, Cheryl and her part timer Halina. Fast forward.. And this January will be 5 years in our new location, and in Aug 2016 the Salon will reach a massive milestone being it’s 15th year anniversary… We will be doing something to celebrate.

Our Staff-

Cheryl, full-time in the salon the owner has worked in the industry for 18 years. We also have Halina, part -time who has been in the industry for 25 years+. The aim of the stylists is to make sure you leave happy. We are here to provide advice, when asked, Or to just do what you want to your hair, our aim is to please and if that means walking out with purple hair, then that’s what we will do.. We pride ourselves on listening first, then asking lots of questions during your consultation

I always considered the price very reasonable compared with what you would pay elsewhere, and the salon also has a referral system where you can get discounts or other special offers for referring friends. At one point about five people I knew were getting their hair done here (especially for weddings and so on) and we were all happy customers.”
