About Soulpod
Soulpod is a health and wellness centre, dedicated to treating and enhancing the health of our patients throughout all stages of their life. We value providing the highest quality of support, education, treatment and care.
When you walk through our doors you will instantly be embraced with a natural sense of warmth, safety and support.
Our integrated and holistic approach encompasses treatment on three levels.
We treat the root cause of a condition by addressing the physical, mental and emotional state of a person. It is when all three entities are considered true healing begins.
The Team
Nat Draper
Founder of SoulPod & Dr or Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Nat is a high energy health enthusiast. She has been in the health and wellness industry for over 15 years bringing years of knowledge, passion and experience both clinically and personally.
Her passion is to educate and empower people to feel the best they can with the combined approach of acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition and self belief. She is truly devoted and thrives on helping people discover that life is so much greater with good health.
Nat has a full understanding and appreciation for what many of her patients are going through, as she too has been there. She was faced with hormonal imbalances, fertility concerns, thyroid and adrenal deficiencies leading to complete physical burn out. After full restoration and recovery this fuelled her inspiration, passion, knowledge and desire to help others who were also experiencing similar health concerns. Throughout her recovery it was reinforced that there is an inseparable, undoubtable connection between the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual self. Working concurrently with all four realms ensures a greater understanding of the condition and allows for a deeper level of healing.
Most of Nats patients present with any number of the following complaints: exhaustion and fatigue, burn out, fertility challenges, menstrual irregularities, sleep concerns, anxiety or depression, and digestive complaints. She loves combining her treatments with other modalities so one can fully embody true healing.
Nat holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine including Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. She also holds an Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy with further study in the Art of Holistic Leadership.
Nicole Pawley
Dr of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
Nicole Pawley is a fully qualified Chinese Medicine Practitioner completing her Bachelor of Health Sciences at the elite Southern School of Natural Therapies.
She is also an experienced childbirth educator specialising in Hypnobirthing and has taught in excess of 150 couples essential skills to cope with childbirth by maintaining control, keeping calm and eliminating fear.
Nicole is an acupuncturist with an energetic passion. Her deepest desires are to take everyday living back to its simple state – organic, innate, preventative health. Her attraction for simple health began more than a decade ago through wholistic work and also from having children. Nicole has birthed 4 children, all under the philosophy of hypnobirthing. She believes the greatest foundation begins preconception and is enhanced by nutrient dense food, nutritional support, Chinese medicine, complimentary therapies, cleaner living and simple birth processes. These have become her main stay.
Nicole will teach you health and healing to live a better kind of normal. She will open your eyes to the small clues your body gives when it is under duress and guide you to take responsibility for your own health. Using acupuncture, herbs, moxibustion, gua-sha, cupping, acupressure, massage and
breathing techniques will aid in stimulating qi and blood flow within the body.
Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine can treat a wide range of conditions and produces amazing results for the entire family. Nicole has experience treating children, even babies through to older kids and of course adults. She has a special interest in women’s health and loves a challenge.
Nicole is registered with AHPRA as a Chinese
Medicine Practitioner and is an associate member
of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society.
She is covered by most healthcare providers.
Rachel Bullen
Kinesiologist
Rachel studied Kinesiology at the International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice, Melbourne campus. She also holds qualifications in Naturopathy, Nutrition Medicine and Western Herbal Medicine, and is currently studying Reiki.
Rachel’s path to Kinesiology began with experiencing fantastic results in her own life, which inspired her to pursue a career in the healing arts. Kinesiology is unique in that it is able to tap into the body’s innate wisdom and healing mechanisms, by consulting the body directly via the specialised technique of muscle testing. The muscle acts as a biofeedback mechanism which allows direct dialogue with the body, thereby providing insight into underlying physical, mental and spiritual imbalances. By combining ancient philosophies from Traditional Chinese Medicine with a broad range of contemporary approaches to health and well being, Kinesiology is a truly holistic practice.
Rachel’s passion for Kinesiology is embedded is the principle that each person has the ability to activate their own innate healing mechanisms through greater self awareness. She believes that her role as Kinesiologist is a facilitator – guiding the client through a process of self discovery, acknowledgement, and respect for their own unique life journey.
Kinesiology can assist with:
- Stress management
- Identifying and achieve core goals
- Injury rehabilitation and pain relief
- Finding greater clarity in life’s journey
- Developing greater connection with mind, body and spirit
- Identifying the emotional elements of disease
- Nutritional deficiencies
- Skin and gut troubles
- Learning difficulties
- Releasing past trauma
- Relationship issues

Services
Acupuncture
It’s not as scary as everyone thinks. We use acupuncture to focus on bringing back homeostasis to the body. By using ultra fine single use needles we place them where the body indicates there is some sort of disharmony.
Acupuncture works predominately on promoting and restoring Qi (pronounced chee), translated as energy. Most people describe their experience saying “wow, I have never felt like this before”.
Chinese Herbal Medicine
One of the oldest medicines in the world, with so much credit owed to its foundations as a lot of todays pharmaceuticals are based on many of these eastern medicinal plants.
Chinese herbology is a key component of Traditional Chinese medicine. Chinese herbs have long been used to help restore harmony within the body by improving digestive function, nourishing deficiencies, repairing and rebuilding, and enhancing immune fucntion. Whatever your ailment, we can design a natural, and safe remedy with Chinese herbs. Our Chinese herbs are also convenient to use. We offer medicine in dissolvable granule form and pills, or if you choose we also offer the traditional method of brewing decoctions.
Kinesiology
Kinesiology uses gentle muscle-monitoring techniques to access the subconscious mind and gain accurate information about your current issues and what is needed to help your body, mind and spirit to
restore balance.
Myotherapy
Myotherapy is a system of treating painful, stiff and restricted muscles and soft tissue. We all know the term “knots” – these are also known as trigger points. Myotherapy treatment predominately focuses on releasing those trigger points so that you can experience feeling relaxed and pain free.
Yoga
We offer three main styles of yoga here at Soulpod: Yin and Restorative Yoga, Vinyasa Slow Flow and Beginners.
Suitable for all levels, perfect for those who feel they need nurturing and restoring. Yin yoga is all bout switching off the “go” button and surrendering to just being in the moment. All poses are on the floor and supported by bolsters, blocks and blankets. These gentle poses are held anywhere from two to four minutes and includes a strong connection to the philosophy of traditional Chinese medicine. It’s an incredible way to end your days work.
