South Terrace is a dedicated team of Hairstylists conveniently located in the Centrepoint Shopping Centre.

At South Terrace we stock and recommend the full range of L’oreal Professionnel products, Pureology Professional Shampoo & conditioner and styling range and the Matrix Professional shampoo, conditioner and styling range. There is always someone who can provide advice and ideas if you need them.

We offer a wide range of services in hair from Colours, Perms, Keratin Smoothing, Style Cuts and Blowdrys, straightening & curly & hair-ups for all your special occasions.

We also stock a range of Locketin jewellery, homewares and gifts.

ABOUT ALISA

Alisa started her apprenticeship with South Terrace in 2000. Alisa has 2 small beautiful children & works Tuesday and every 2nd Saturday. She attends all training sessions to keep her skills up-to-date and loves all areas of hairdressing. Alisa makes her clients feel very relaxed while she creates beautiful hair styles.

ABOUT JO

Jo is the proud owner of South Terrace Hair and Beauty, she has been hairdressing for over 25 years within the industry.
Jo is currently the National President of the International Hairstylist Society and Tasmanian Director.
Jo has held many positions in the hairdressing industry, she is a great friend, work mate and boss.
Jo’s bright and bubbly personality shines through in all her happy staff members, she has been a successful business woman for over 20 years.

ABOUT JO H.

After 40+ years in hairdressing, Jo still loves to talk about and create great hair. With Jo’s wealth of knowledge & experience of hair she makes all her clients look & feel great and loves to train our staff to pass on all her knowledge. Jo enjoys all areas of hairdressing and looks forward to Monday, Wednesday & Thursday to doing her clients hair. Jo also volunteers with the “Look Good, Feel Better” program with cancer patients.

LAUREN
ABOUT LAUREN

Lauren completed her apprenticeship here at South Terrace and loves working for us so much she has stayed with our amazing team. She enjoys competing in photographic competitions and has been Intercoiffure AUS/NZ Junior winner 2013 and people’s choice 2014. Lauren’s greatest achievement is winning Sharon Blain (industry Icon) Whiz Kids mentoring program in 2015. Lauren loves all areas of hairdressing and especially loves formal hair up styles.

ABOUT MEL

Mel started work at South Terrace in 2006 and works Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9 – 2 & every second Saturday. Mel is a perfectionist in all aspects of her hairdressing skills and enjoys giving her clients something new.

MICHELLE
ABOUT MICHELLE

Michelle has worked in London & Sydney in her 10 years in the industry. She has worked as a rep in the industry which has helped with knowledge of many products and great customer service. Michelle attends many training sessions & became a hairdresser because she loves people and speaking with people from all walks of life. Making them look and feel great about themselves. Her favourite part of hairdressing is colour.
NATALIE
ABOUT NATALIE

Nat has been in the Hairdressing industry for 10 years. She has been highly successful in Hairdressing competitions at a state, national & international level. Natalie regularly attends many training sessions to keep her skills current. Her favourite service in the salon is Hair up for weddings or any formal occasion.

TIAHNEE
ABOUT TIAHNEE

Tiahnee has successfully completed her Cert 2 in 2015. Tiahnee has started her apprenticeship with us and loves hair up and is looking forward to learning lots of new skills with us.

Rick has been hairdressing for over 19 Years, has worked and lived in Sydney where he gained lots of experience & knowledge from national & International stylists.
Rick loves to create styles for each individual client.

Rosie has had a life time in the hairdressing industry and still loves every aspect of the industry and her clients.
