Permanent Straightening, Smoothing & Treatment Prices

You will experience products and expertise of the highest professional quality. Straight and Sleek have less overhead expenses than many salons…and that saving is passed on to you!

Permanent Bio-Ionic Retex – Japanese Method of Straightening

(ReTex permanently re-texturizes the hair from curly, frizzy & unruly to straight, super-shiny, sleek, smooth and manageable hair. This treatment grows out, retouch can be performed from 3mths after service, average is 6 to 12 months.)

• Short -from $400
• Medium – $450 to $600* shoulder length and above
• Long – $550 to $750*below the shoulders to mid back
• Extra long -$750 to $1000*below mid back

*Prices will vary due to condition and thickness of hair. All straightenings include a style cut or trim & if required a Nanomax treatment. (3 to 5 hour one on one service)

Regrowth for Retex – pricing is usually the same as the initial straightening except for long hair regrowth which is less. Regrowth service usually takes the same time as it is more involved. Partial regrowth can be performed pricing varies from $150.

Semi -Permanent Hair Smoothing/defrizzing – Bio-Ionic Agave Smoothing Treatment

Agave TM uses Keratin in a safe formula to hydrate, smooth, defrizz and condition hair and make it more manageable. Results last approx 12 weeks. Perfect for those who love their curls but need to tame the frizz, or clients with hair that is too overprocessed for Retex (fine overbleached hair).

Short – $200*
Medium – $250*
Long – $350*

*Prices with vary due to condition and thickness of hair. (2 -3 hour one on one service)

Hair Repair – Nanomax Permanent Hair Repair – N Gravity

Natural Superior Protein Treatment to rebuild and hydrate the hair producing silky, super shiny results that last 5 weeks approx. Nanomax is excellent for Retexed hair or any processed hair.
Short to medium – $80
Medium to long – $80 to $100
(45 – 60 minute service. Hair is washed, dried, treated and ironed)

“I have been having my hair permanently straightened for years and as I have very frizzy hair and quite curly it has been life changing for me. I know that might sound ridiculous but when you dont have to spend hours trying to make your hair look neat and stylish by somehow defrizzing it (which never really worked or lasted), you have a different life, one with more time get on with things rather than your hair. I have paid alot of money to have straightening 2 to 3 times a year (often because my hair is so frizzy at the root area). The results were straight but my hair was very dry and still had frizz to it and needed ironing to smooth it, not long though compared to if it wasnt straightened. Then I discovered Charmaine and Straight and Sleek. The big difference to me was firstly that my hair condition became smoother and hardly any frizz factor, after I had my regrowth done, the ends were even in better condition than from the other straightening Id had, I knew straight away that the BIO-IONICS product was much more superior than the one I had previously. Second big difference was that in Charmaine’s salon you are the only client, she works on you one on one, so that meant my hair was 100% cared for and monitored by her in every very important step. I wasnt left waiting for her once, and as she is a specialist in this field, every stage was performed to perfection, making me feel I was in very capable hands. Third big difference was it took about 1 hour less than the salon I usually frequented, as I wasnt left waiting and Charmaine is very quick as I suppose she does it all day. And the bonus after all that is that it cost me half the amount I had been paying for my straightening before, a very big bonus as straightening is a very expensive hair service and to make it more affordable is just awesome.
