Care instructions to prolong the life of your Sun Emporium Swimwear

Rinse in cool water after every use
Hand wash with mild detergent
Do Not machine wash
Do Not pack or leave rolled up when wet
Do Not spin dry, soak, bleach, iron, dry clean, pack or store when wet.
Be careful to remove all traces of sunscreen from your garment in the washing process.
Remove all sand grains by rinsing your garment or carefully stretch dry fabric over thumbnail and sand will drop out.
Drip dry and lay flat in shade to dry
Avoid rough surfaces such as concrete, rough wood, swimming pool surrounds as these may damage your swimsuit.

A Look Inside the Brand

Living the expat life in Asia during most of the 1990’s saw Sun Emporium Director and designer Sally Michael embark on a quest to bring the Australian sun safe message to the world of children’s swimwear. Family holidays in exotic destinations invariably drew attention to the fact that her young son always wore a UV Sun Shirt when swimming as that’s what Aussie kids do at the beach! Other families thought this was a brilliant way to protect their own children from the harsh summer sun. Some parents loved the idea of minimising the amount of sun screen chemicals their children would need while wearing a sun shirt. Many parents were seeing a ‘rashie’ for the first time.

Concerned parents wanted a simple solution to this burning question: how do we best protect our kids from the sun?

As an Australian who grew up on idyllic Clovelly Beach in Sydney, Sally well understood the need for quality, well designed UV swimwear. Thus a seed was planted on tiny, tropical island thousands of miles from home. Shipping and Delivery
To protect against the loss of your parcel, all shipping is sent with a tracking service.
If you will not be home during business hours please provide an alternative address eg. a work address.
If you are not in attendance when the parcel is being delivered you will receive a notification paper with details on how and when to collect your parcel.
Orders that are placed during the weekend or holidays are processed on the first subsequent business day and will ship within 24 hours of receiving the order.
Sun Emporium does not accept responsibility for a shipment that is lost after being delivered and signed for.

Returns
Sun Emporium wants to ensure you are completely happy with your purchase and online shopping experience.

However we do understand that sometimes the style/s chosen may not be completely perfect for your child.

Sun Emporium will be happy to accept your returned goods for exchange or refund. Please see conditions below.

With every Sun Emporium online order you will receive a Return Form.
The Return form must be completed and signed and sent with the item for Exchange and Original receipt for Refund.
Any items purchased online must be returned to us within 14 days of purchase for a full Refund or Exchange if you prefer.
Goods must be unworn and unwashed with all original tags attached. The hygiene sticker must be attached and in original condition and must not be removed.
In the interests of hygiene all swimwear should be tried on over underwear.
If you would like an Exchange we will attempt to replace with the same product. If we cannot fulfil this replacement, you will receive a full refund for the item or a suitable replacement.
Refunds will be issued for the purchase price of the returned item on the original receipt. If stock is no longer available for exchange we will provide you a full refund.
Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. If there was free shipping and handling due to a promotion and the items were returned, you will be responsible for those charges if your final order does not meet the conditions of the promotion on completion of your finalised order.
In accordance with the Trade Practices Act: Sun Emporium will offer you anexchange or refund if the product is faulty or is different to that shown or described.
Any items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.
The customer will cover all postage costs: If you wish to exchange your purchase please include a postage paid, self-addressed postage bag sufficient to return your purchase to you.
