Damian Smyth is Swanson Reed’s Chief Executive Officer. Damian began his career in general tax advisory. He has served as a Director of Swanson Reed since 2008 and moved into his current role on 1 July 2013.

Damian has a special interest in forward tax planning and claim substantiation advice.

He is active in the Patent Box debate and R&D tax debate concerning the push to reduce global R&D incentives by the OECD.

Damian has an industry focus in power and electricity generation assets.

Damian is an avid sports fan and passionate about fitness.
