Cosmetic Eyebrow Tattooing In Sydney

As humans, we aren’t perfect, and neither are our eyebrows. Scars and missing hairs can change the look of your eyebrows, and your eyebrows can grow thinner as you age. Even with a careful hand, applying eyebrow gel or pencil every day can be troublesome. For a more natural look, consider getting an eyebrow feathering tattoo.

At Sydney Permanent Make-Up Centre, we believe consultations are the key to satisfied clients. In our consultations, we will draw and measure your brows to achieve the perfect shape for your face. We will discuss the different methods to achieve the perfect eyebrows, like feathering, shading or hair strokes.

And to keep your eyebrows looking natural, we apply a feathering technique to mimic natural hairs. This method gives your eyebrows a soft, full and defined appearance. Eyebrow feathering tattoos can eliminate imperfections in the eyebrows and give your eyebrows a more symmetrical look.

We only use the highest quality products, and we use the utmost care in every service we provide. Our staff members will always treat you with respect, and we’ll carefully listen to your wants and needs to ensure your satisfaction. Whatever you’re looking for, you can expect personable, quality services at  Sydney Permanent Make-Up Centre.

If you’d like to schedule an appointment in Sydney, call us on (02) 9712 4133 and speak with one of our friendly staff members. If it’s more convenient for you, you can also send us a message through our website. Tattoo Removal In Sydney

It is estimated that over 3 million Australians have a single or multiple tattoos on their bodies and close to 50% of these will want one or more removed at some time later in life.

The Skinial Non Laser Tattoo removal system uses a removal liquid based on lactic acid, a substance that is naturally produced by the body’s own metabolism.

The beauty of this system is that it actually REMOVES the tattoo ink from the skin the same way it was put into the skin. A tattoo machine is used to penetrate the skin, the removal liquid is applied and the body naturally breaks down the unwanted pigment. A scab forms and when this falls off, the pigment goes with it and the tattoo is removed without laser.

It works on all ink colours and is suitable for all size tattoos. Generally, 3-4 treatments are all that is needed depending on the size of the body tattoo.

Using the highest standard of hygiene; our tattoo equipment is medical grade our technicians go through a rigorous training which we continue to constantly update following the latest in scientific research.

It is recommended that clients have an initial consultation and patch/tolerance test to ensure no allergic reaction, although allergic reactions are extremely rare. Tattoo removal costs vary according to the size of tattoo, but in general minimal treatments are needed making the Skinial Tattoo removal method more cost effective than any other method.

What you should know about the dangers of Laser Tattoo Removal

Until recently, the only known tattoo removal method was by laser. Currently there are great concerns over this method as laser breaks down the pigment into smaller molecules which are then transported through the lymphatic system – it is unknown what reaction the molecules can trigger in the body.

Research studies by the university clinic in Germany have discovered the following: ‘With laser tattoo removal, The pigment is broken up and carried into the deeper layers of the skin which can form shadows. Laser tattoo removal does not remove all colours and sometimes turns the colour luminous and, although burns are not always visible, the connective tissue underneath is often scarred.

Laser tattoo removal is a very painful removal method and takes many treatments, sometimes up to 15.

areoles (nipples) for mastectomy patients

Cryopen Therapy in Sydney

The cryotherapy with Cryopen is a total and controlled destruction of the unwanted tissue through its cooling during the clinical procedure. The cryogenic treatment can also be used to eliminate living tissue because no organic cell, healthy or sick, can survive a freezing procedure up to -95C degrees.

Cryotherapy is considered a very fast and safe technique and because of this reason, the best medical clinics benefit from this extension of service to their clients. Through the Cryopen treatment you can have a fast and extremely effective solution.

Cryopen therapy can treat minor irregularities, red moles, skin tags, thread veins, small birth marks, warts and hyper pigmentation.

What is cryosurgery?

Cryosurgery is a procedure that uses extreme cold to destroy tissue.

How are tissues destroyed during cryosurgery?

Cell destruction occurs when a cell is rapidly brought down to a very low temperature and ice crystals form. The ice crystals destroy the cell organelles and protein matrixes. Water than ruses into the surrounding area causing a blister and a disruption of the local blood supply.

How long does the blister last after treatment?

A blister forms 2-24 hours after the being frozen. Blisters may take several days to dissolve. Once a blister breaks, a crust will form over the lesion. Healing occurs from 1 to 6 weeks, depending on depth of freeze and size of lesion.

Can you describe the procedure in full detail?

During the procedure, the area freezes and turns white. After this white area thaws, a flushing occurs and the area will turn red. This thawing is associated with a pinching sensation as a wheal is formed. This wheal will typically turn into a blister which may last for 3 to 5 days before it scabs. The scab will fall off within 2 weeks. Depending on the extent of freeze, a new scab may form and repeat the process. The lesion will be completely healed in 2 to 6 weeks. After primary healing occurs, the area will be lighter than the surrounding area due to loss of melanocytes.

How is cryosurgery better than other methods of removing skin lesions?

Cryosurgery requires no anesthesia and has less scarring than other techniques of skin lesion removal with minimal post-op care.

Will there be scarring?

Typically cryosurgery leaves the least amount of scarring of any form of lesion removal because it causes the least damage to the connective tissue. A hypo-pigmented lesion will be noted until it darkens with new tanning.

Is there pain with the procedure?

There may be some tingling with the initial freezing, but most patients get an anesthetic effect from the extreme freezing temperatures. More of a pinching sensation occurs when the area thaws out. Some patients have some discomfort for the first day after the procedure. Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen are usually adequate to make the pain go away.

How permanent is the cure?

For most lesions, cryosurgery is a permanent removal. Some lesions are harder to remove than others. In more delicate places a shorter freeze time with repeat procedures may be required to get a final result with the least damage to the surrounding skin. In other instances a deep lesion may take several aggressive treatments to get final results. In particular, warts that don抰 have pre-treatment may take multiple freezes.

Will there be permanent discoloration?

Since melanocytes are the most sensitive cell type, persons with dark pigmentation or prolonged freeze times in any individual may cause extremely long color recovery or permanent color loss, even after the lesion is healed in other respects.

Will my wart fall off after one treatment?

Most small common warts will respond to a single treatment. However, certain types and very large ones can be very difficult to remove and may take more than one treatment.

Will my activities be limited, and for how long, after the procedure?

There are no limitations on activity except to protect the treated area from damage or abrasion. Activity should be limited as one would for a second degree burn with a blister.

How do I take care of the blister?

Keep it protected best as possible and do not break the blister unless it leaks, then apply antibiotic ointment and keep it covered.

What if the blister pops?

If the blister pops, the use of an antibiotic cleaning solution and ointment is recommended. Cover the area with a bandage also promotes healing.

What are the most common complications after cryosurgery?

An early blister that pops could potentially become infected if not cleaned properly.

What type of skin abnormalities are most appropriate to freeze?

Almost any unwanted skin lesions are appropriate such as warts, moles, actinic keratosis, seborrheic keratosis, keloids, lentigos, dermatofibromas and hemangiomas.

What types of lesions should not be frozen?

All melanomas and recurrent basal cell carcinomas. Melanoma can spread by any of several means including local, lymphatic and blood. Additionally, Melanoma will change to a much more aggressive form if part of the lesion is left behind undetected. Basil cell carcinoma is typically spread by local extension and you may need more extensive surgery if recurrence is suspected.

Where on the body can skin abnormalities be removed from?
Care should be taken around areas of very think skin and areas in which color may be cosmetically important. These areas may include the face, ears, scrotum and lateral surface of fingers.

Can anyone have cryosurgery?

Yes, cautions about skin type and location should be considered prior to deciding on freeze times. People with high levels of cryoglobulins should be treated with caution. If you have really dark skin, you may not want to have cryosurgery, as it will kill the melanocytes around the treated area, making the skin in that area lighter.

Can the CryoPen be used on children?

Yes. Children are most commonly treated for Nevi and Molluscum contagiosum with the CryoPen.

Carboxy Therapy In Sydney
Carboxytherapy is the process of treating your cellulite problems, stretch marks and also old wounds with Carbon Dioxide gas in order to restore the shape and appearance of healthy skin.

Carboxytherapy could be used for the treatment of cellulite and stretch marks. As for the cellulite, patients could make use of Carboxytherapy to get rid of cellulite because of its effect on fat cells. Carbon Dioxide is able to destroy most of the fat cells beneath the skin.

In addition to its effect on fat cells, carbon dioxide will also increase the amount of blood reaching the fibrous tissue layer beneath the skin. So, your skin will look healthier because of the increased blood supply, your fibrous tissue will get thicker and firmer with less fat cells in between.

First of all, your physician will examine your body and decide the amount of CO2 that should be injected in the site. The session will take from 10 to 15 minutes where the CO2 will be injected under the skin using very minute caliber needle. The process is very simple; there is no recovery period or pre operative technique as there is no anesthesia involved in the session.

Carboxytherapy can extend from 4 to 16 sessions. Sessions could be attended every other day or every three or seven days. The duration between sessions is determined by the treating doctor.
