We dress or style hair for special events, working with our clients to make that special day more memorable. We cater for school formals, formal occasions and weddings and, if needed, we do pre-event trials with extensive consultations also make up consultations and applications.

We also offer a make-up service to compliment that special event or just to update your image. We use SLA, (Serge Louis Alvarez), the professional, natural and organic make-up from the south of France. The SLA philosophy gels well with the Taboo Philosophy which is “To be both glamorous and beautiful whilst respecting your health and the environment”.

The range includes products awarded with the ECOCERT organic certification and was the first professional brand to obtain this. Where possible, ingredients are sourced from Fair Trade countries, packaging is refillable and recyclable, and products are not tested on animals. Some cosmetics are also formulated without Parabens and Phenoxyenthanol. SLA now offers a completely Bio (99-100% purely natural) collection of products. We also stock Y Natural organic skin care range which compliments the SLA cosmetics beliefs and philosophies.

We believe, as artists, our colourists, when diagnosing or applying colour, bring a pallet of experience and individuality to their brush and comb. Be it muted tones, rich tones, pastel or bright tones, our experts will advise you.
