Welcome to Tai Chi for Health Brisbane

Originating in ancient China, Tai Chi is one of the most effective exercises for health of mind and body.

There are many styles and forms of Tai Chi, the major ones being Chen, Yang, Wu, Wu (different words in Chinese) and Sun.

Each style has its own features, although most styles share the same essential principles.  In terms of physical exertion, some are similar to walking and some are similar to running.

The traditional Tai Chi sets are designed for martial art purpose hundreds of years ago.  They are complex and difficult to learn.

Our teaching method, step-by-step, is an empowerment tool.  It makes learning easy for participants, so they, in turn, feel good about their ability to learn.  This enables participants to learn more quickly and to enjoy learning more.

The essential principles include mind integrated with the body; fluidity of the movements; control of breathing; and mental concentration.

The central focus is to enable the Qi or life force to flow smoothly and powerfully throughout the body.

Total harmony of the inner and outer self comes from the integration of mind and body, achieved through the ongoing practice of Tai Chi.

Healing Massage

The thoughts of me becoming to a good Massage Therapist has been keep coming to my mind for the last many years.

I gave you a few examples:  Thirteen years ago, I met a Priest and gave him a head, shoulder and back massage due to his headache, and he told me that “Chunmei, you have healing hands, I feel so much better now.

My headache is gong…….”.  I regularly message my two dear children since they were born, and found that they always sleep very well and calm.

My children often said to me that “Mum, you have beautiful touch, I feel so good, please can you give me a touch at my back…..”.

A few of my close friends very often suggests to me to become a Massage Therapist as they also feel that my touch is very amazing to their body.

Anyway, cut story short, at the beginning of 2016, I asked God to give me a sign if I should becoming a Massage Therapist, and at the same day I received a phone call from a stranger who asked me if I do massage.

Wow!  I considered it as the sign that it is a call for me to become a good Healing Massage Therapist, and so the rest is history…..

Massage Therapy begins thousands of years ago.  The very first written record s have been found in both China and Egypt.
