Key Personnel

Scott Andrews CPA – Chief Executive Officer

Scott Andrews founded the firm in 1999. He holds a degree in Commerce and is a Certified Practising Accountant with a specialisation in taxation.

In 2010 Scott was elected by his peers to the position of Regional Chairman (FNQ Branch) of CPA Australia, which covered a group of many hundreds of members. CPA Australia advised that Scott was the youngest person appointed to the position in CPA Australia history.

The appointment to this role opened many doors professionally and during 2010 Scott was asked to represent CPA Australia numerous times, at professional shows, awards, conferences, television, local newspaper and online media presentations.

At the same time Queensland was suffering from devastating natural disasters and Scott was appointed by the Queensland Government as a business consultant to assist with getting Queensland businesses back on track. In particular, the Jobs Assist Program was predominantly aimed at assisting businesses with 10 or more staff to improve financially through mentoring, coaching and consulting. Scott assisted dozens of businesses in Cairns, Townsville and the South East Queensland area in this program and was one of the most sought after consultants in Queensland.

Later in 2010, Scott decided to pursue growth of the taxsmart® business through franchising and established the business quickly as a network of qualified accountants via the franchise system.

Janine Andrews – Franchise Recruitment Manager

Janine has been instrumental in the growth of the taxsmart® network.

She has many years experience in franchise recruitment and development and handles the administration of all leads and marketing for the taxsmart® network of accountants.
