“This is a cut above your average thai massage experience. Thai massage is a much more sophisticated and complex form of massage than it is often given credit for. There are aspects that people who are familiar with yoga, accupressure and Chinese medicine will recognise, and Chivaran does it better than most. I had the male masseuse and having been to probably a dozen different Thai massage places around Melbourne I am confident to say that this gentleman was highly skilled in the finer points and sophistication of Thai massage. Knees, elbows were all present as you would hope for, but he was also capable of being light of touch as well. Very polite, respectful and professional as well. The ambience of Chivaran is also of a higher class than most places, the beds are electrically adjustable, the towels are thick, and when wiping of oil (heated) they use hot towels rather than rougher paper towels. All in all, if you want a skilled Thai massage in a place that is professional, spotlessly clean and quiet, this is a very good one.  “
