Who is The Distinctive Dame?

Margeaux – I started out as a makeup artist back in 2009, soon realising that hair is what I loved most and the medium that I could be most expressive with. Most of what I know I’ve learned on the job in addition to doing some master-classes with the queens of long hair – Sharon Blain and Lizzie Liros.

What are you inspired by?

For me inspiration is everywhere and is wrapped up in the many idiosyncratic moments of life.

What’s your favourite hairstyle?

Waves. They’re no longer something I can do on myself so I love creating them on others.

What do you love about your job?

I love the chats I get to have with my clients – all interesting and inspiring women.

I also love working with fellow creatives to produce art.
