The Elizabeth Laser & Cosmetic Medicine Centre

In 1993 the North Sydney Medical Centre and Skin Cancer Clinic located at 71 Walker St (originally the Elizabeth Medical Centre) was established servicing the medical needs of North Sydney and the surrounding suburbs. Today it provides a comprehensive service of medical health checks, shared antenatal care, paediatrics, vaccination, travel health advice, diving medicals and a fully serviced pathology centre on site. The centre provides support to the Royal College of General Practitioners with regular advanced trainees and has over ten doctors and a practice nurse with a huge variety of experience.

The North Sydney Skin Cancer and Cosmetic Medicine Centre was established 1997 (as The Elizabeth Laser and Cosmetic Medicine Centre). It is located at 231 Miller St. The centre has been designed to meet the ever increasing demands of new technology for improved cosmetic procedures that are effective and less invasive than surgery. The centre has state of the art of facilities providing a comprehensive range of cosmetic procedures.

Dr Lesleigh Brown and Dr Sharron Phillipson specialise in cosmetic medicine and have many years’ experience in this field. Dr Phillipson is the founding president of The Australiasian College of Aesthetic Medicine and sits on a variety of medical boards. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Laser Surgery. Both doctors are members of the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons and The Australiasian College of Phlebology. They are fully trained in the techniques of laser resurfacing, sclerotherapy, wrinkle reduction therapy and the most up to date methods of eliminating skin blemishes including wrinkles, pigmentation, moles and other skin lesions and tattoo removal.

The North Sydney Skin Cancer Clinic also provides a full range of general practice services and skin cancer checks. Dr Chloe Ryan and Dr Douglas Falconer have joined the team as senior registrars from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
