The Hardware Store

The Hardware Store is an independently owned business dealing with an extensive cross section of clients including builders, businesses and local customers. Owner, Grant Crowle has been involved in the Hardware industry for over 20 years.
We opened our Balmain store in 2005. We have now expanded into Alexandria thereby extending our reach and access across Sydney for our customers. Our business model is very much based on customer service, pricing and keeping it local – employing local staff and supporting our community.

The Hardware Store is a member of the Hardware and Building Traders ( HBT) buying group. The HBT group has a membership of 400 stores across Australia and over 300 suppliers. This partnership allows us to access competitive pricing and bulk discount arrangements with key suppliers and warehouses – passing this benefit onto our customers.
