Established in 1995, we offer specialised kiltmaking along with our large range of kilt and accessory hire

Kilt hire and kiltmaking in Perth. Highly qualified kiltmaker right here on site. Heather meets and exceeds the minimum standards set by the Kiltmakers Association in Scotland.

All kilts are made to the highest possible standard using only 100% pure kiltmaking wool milled in Scotland.

Our shop has lots of interesting stuff from Scotland, with high quality regalia and gifts available for that special occasion. Quaichs, Kilt Pins and Sgian Dubhs are on display.

We can research your family tartan for you, and Heather has a direct contact with the Director of the Scottish Tartans Authority for any of those tricky questions.

Clan crested items available such as flags, mugs, mouse pads, shields and lots more.

Since 2007, Heather and Jim Anderson have been  the proud owners of The House of Tartan which started in 1995 and has grown into the amazing shop it is today, with the help and support of the local Scottish Community.

Highest Quality Tartan

Only 100% pure wool tartans registered with the Scottish Tartans Authority and milled in Scotland are used in our kilts. We do not use ladies skirt weight material in men’s kilts.
