As well as providing the highest quality treatments, THink is a leading trainer of cosmetic tattoo technicians in Australia and New Zealand.

The techniques used by THink have been developed and refined using the best available technology and feedback from literally hundreds of students trained over the last 15 years by Janice Trainer, our Master Cosmetic Tattooist & Trainer.

THink is in process of becoming a Registered Training Organisation and has all the quality control system to support that and beyond.

THink has a strong focus on Research & Development and checks every aspect of pigments, equipment and techniques before deciding what is best for use in their clinic.

THink takes the same approach with their MBC Cosmetic Tattoo supplies business, which distributes around Australia, and has the Australian distribution rights for leading international brands Nouveau Contour, Biotouch, Ecuri (for scalp pigments) and Karen Betts.

Anaesthetic

Topical anaesthetic is used on the treatment area to ensure you are as comfortable as possible.

Under the QLD Health Regulation, clients are required to purchase the anaesthetic themselves from a compounding pharmacy, with their own name on the label.

As industry experts, we take our client care very seriously and thank you in advance for supporting this process.

We have partnered with a compounder so you can purchase the anaesthetic with ease online. The anaesthetic will be posted directly to us, ready for youwhen you come in.

Pre-Treatment Advice

Avoid using any AHAs, BHAs or exfoliants on your skin for at least three days before your treatment.

Consider any upcoming events during the week after your treatment; the “powder brows effect” will look dramatic for up to a week after treatment until healed, however “feathered brows” look great straight away.

It is also normal for the colour to appear more prominent for the first few days, after which it will fade to the perfect intensity. The pigment can fade up to 50% in the first seven days.

You will need to regularly apply after-care product, and avoid makeup on the area for 5 days after treatment.

Brows

Be clear about your desired shape and colour.

Get your eyebrows shaped with your cosmetic tattooist prior to your appointment, to discuss shape for your brow procedure.

Do not get your brows tinted before treatment.

Eyeliner

Do not get the lashes tinted within 5 days of treatment, although you may get them tinted before then.

Lash-enhancing serum will thicken the skin along the lash line and make it more difficult for the pigment to be implanted into the area; cease application at least 30 days before treatment

Do not wear contact lens during the procedure.

Lips

If you have a history of cold sores, you must see your doctor at least 4 days before treatment and request the prescribed preventative medication (Flamvr, Acyclovir, Zovirax).

A dental block is recommended for the full lips procedure.
