WHO WE ARE

Unique textiles, distinguishable prints, the fusion of fashion & classic themes, the quest for the ultimate bikini; these are the elements that have established Tigerlily as a leader in premium swimwear and beachwear.

Established in 2000, Tigerlily is all about the beach – it embodies our feelings on a beach lifestyle inspired by health, freedom, and happiness.

Tigerlily represents beauty and strength, individuality and confidence; it is distinctive and coveted yet grounded without pretense or elitism.

Tigerlily has always been, and remains, tangible, but also a little wild and unpredictable.

OUR ETHICS

Ethical sourcing and sustainability have become an integral part of who we are as a brand.

We are 100% committed to making an educated change towards better practices and conditions for the industry we love so much.

OUR RELATIONSHIPS

We are so proud of our long-standing relationships (10+ years) with most of our supplier base.

Visibility in the supply chain goes far beyond knowing the owners of the factories.

Our Management, Design, and Production Teams regularly visit the offices, factories and even some of the mills that produce for Tigerlily (often 4 times yearly).

We engage with 10 boutique-midscale factories for 90% of our production.

FACTORY AUDITS

We have been conducting 3rd party audits of our factories for almost a decade now.

In 2015 as part of our growing commitment, we appointed globally recognised auditors, Bureau Veritas, to continue our quest for greater visibility.

Bureau Veritas has supported our journey for continual improvement in quality, environmental compliance, and social responsibility.

Evaluation is based on our code of conduct, containing standards equivalent to SA800 and Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP).

OUR COMMITMENT

Tigerlily is committed to ethical business practices, admittedly we have much work to do.

The demands of this will change and evolve constantly as we continue to delve deeper into our supply chain sources, review new technologies and refine production processes.

In the past 2 years, we have actively taken part in Australian fashion industry forums with Australian NGO’s Fashion Revolution, Baptist World aid and Stop the Traffik.

We believe in working together as in industry to share knowledge and progress towards greater change.

The 2017 ‘Behind the Barcode’ Australian Ethical Fashion report scored us C+.

While this is an improvement on last years ‘C’, we are already focusing on areas to improve for 2018.

As we grow globally our commitment continues, especially with a focus for the next 12 months on two main areas;

Worker empowerment and to gain further confidence in our printing methods and sustainability of our fabrications.

Reviews

“I tried on a couple of cosies and whilst beautiful unfortunately they didn’t suit me. The staff were so cheery, helpful and friendly that they made it a lovely shopping experience.”
