MEET THE TEAM

MATTHEW WEBB / SESSION STYLIST

Born in England, currently residing in Australia, Matthew has quickly established a name as one of the countries best up-and-coming artists. Matthew is a master at designing well structured – yet subtle looks, which are perfectly tailored to suit the brief. His creative vision always encapsulates a total look, in which he considers face-shape, body-shape, skin-tone, hair texture and lifestyle, in the aid of designing the perfect hairstyle for his client.

His fearless approach to pushing boundaries with shape and texture, has seen him working on key hair teams for internatioanlly renowned designers such as: CHANEL, CALVIN KLEIN & MICHELLE JANK, for their Australian shows.

Matthew’s long-standing partnership with the global superpower of salon hairdressing, TONI & GUY, has provided him with a platform to share his skills with the nations hairdressers aspiring to be the best in the hairdressing industry. He takes appointments in the prestigious TONI & GUY Flagship hair salon in Paddington NSW, where he continues to deliver the the best look and the highest level of service to his regular clientele.

With his innovative and professional approach to hairdressing, he has made many friends. His personable and thorough style of consulting and executing his techniques has most certainly made a mark on the Australian hair and beauty industry.

TAHLYA / STYLE DIRECTOR AND ASSISTANT MANAGER

Tahlya started out her apprenticeship with us at TONI&GUY Paddington. During her 5 years employed at TONI&GUY Paddington she has excelled in all aspects. Tahlya was a finalist for both Apprentice of the Year 2014 and Finalist for Hotshots Fashionista 2014 competition against some of Australia’s best. As Tahlya has developed as a hairdresser she has moved into doing lots of education with TONI&GUY teaching a Certificate III of Hairdressing and an Advanced Styling Course within T&G.

Tahlya is also a Label.M Ambassador! So any product questions, she can answer!

Outside of hairdressing Tahlya is obsessed with all things Japanese! Street fashion, food and anime are her 3 favourite things.
Tahlya wants to travel the world getting fun little tattoo’s to remind her of her adventures. Come visit Tahlya in the salon for a killer haircut and some entertaining adventure stories!

SCOTT / TECHNICIAN

Scotts ambitious spirit is always eager to learn new colouring techniques to bring to his clientele on floor. He chose colour purely for complete and total creative freedom it possesses in itself. Scotts creativity with colour has led him down to specialising in fashion colours also known as Balayage, Ombré and S’ombré techniques.

Scott has been working amongst the most prestigious educators in TONI&GUY from the very beginning. Throughout the years he has been hairdressing he has learn a lot through assisting and working with these educators.

As an apprentice Scott won two awards in TONI&GUY Young Talent Search, blowing away the judges and winning both ‘Cut and Colour’ and Editorial categories.
Outside of work Scott is a very spiritual person, he collects and wears many crystals everyday. So join Scott on his path of enlightenment while you get a beautiful colour at TONI&GUY Paddington!

MIA / ASSISTANT

Mia has been passionate about hairdressing since High School. Mia has completed a Certificate II in Hairdressing and currently working on her Certificate III.
Technical or Styling? Mia says ‘ It’s to soon to tell but TONI&GUY provide the best training and I know whatever I choose I am just lucky to be apart of it ‘
Mia is a bundle of energy and always keen to help anyone and everyone. You can see her floating around with a big smile on her face all day everyday.
Mia’s dream is to work and live in London.
Watch out for this girls name because she’s got a bright future ahead of her!

FAYE / RECEPTIONIST/ SALON MANAGER

Originally from London, England, Faye is no stranger to TONI&GUY. Starting of as a assistant in Regent Street and Covert Garden TONI&GUY and moved into the reception side of Hairdressing which gives Faye a great understanding of hair and is able to help you book your appointment with one of our experienced Stylist or Technician.
Faye has taken the role of Salon Manager and we honestly couldn’t think of a better person for the job! So if you have any questions or comments about our staff direct them to Faye!
After moving to Australia Faye has become quite a beach bum. Loving and adapting easily to our weather and beach life style, Faye can be found wondering the markets and streets of her favourite place in Australia, BONDI!

IDY / STYLIST

Idy is a busy little bee, new to hairdressing Idy received the ‘Top Student Award’ in TONI&GUY and her new career path was started. When it comes to cutting hair, Idy believes you need to look at each individuals personality, life style and fashion sense to tailor the haircut to suit.
Before hairdressing Idy studied Food Nutrition and can tell you anything you need to know! Haircut and a Nutrition lesson, talk about a package deal.
Idy is a accomplished piano player and in her free time gives piano lessons to children.
Her bubbly, caring manner and creative character will leave you leaving the salon feeling totally pampered with a cut completely personalised to suit your whole life.
