Originating in France, the process of balayage involves the freehand application of colour in order to create natural looking, sun-kissed highlights.

Hair colouring

We are pleased to use Goldwell Elumen hair colour within our salon. These are high performance dyes that are free of oxidants, providing great looking results with as little damage to the hair as possible.

Ombre

Much like balayage, ombre is a French style of colouring. The word ‘ombre’ can be translated to mean shadow or shade, with the hair colour gradually fading from dark to light or vice versa. As opposed to starting from the roots, colour is applied throughout the lengths of the hair in order to create a subtle change in colour.

Keratin smoothing

Keratin smoothing is the latest treatment designed to eliminate frizz and provide a silky, glossy finish to the hair. The hair generally remains smooth and shiny for as long as 12-16 weeks, with the smoothing complex delivering nourishing keratin proteins that work to strengthen the hair.
