Turnleys

HISTORY

Turnleys (Aust.) Pty. Ltd. was originally established in Melbourne, Australia in 1909 as R. G. Turnley & Son Pty. Ltd. by Robert Goulburn Turnley and his son Cyril.

The company experienced rapid growth and success into the early 1920s. Then a decision was made to expand the family business to New South Wales. In 1923 Turnleys Limited was opened in Sydney.

This branch office enabled Turnleys to widen its product distribution into the two most populated states of Australia.

Turnleys is now into its fifth generation and consists of several established Trade-Only Cash & Carry stores, in the surrounding suburbs of Melbourne and Sydney.

Our national office is located in Fitzroy, Melbourne. Turnleys is regarded as one of the more experienced distributors in the Australian Hairdressing & Beauty Industry.

We carry an extensive range of products. Turnleys is a family-operated business. The company comprises several departments including: sales, customer service, management, operations, communications & marketing, education & training, finance / accounts and warehousing.

OBJECTIVE

All our customers and prospective customers receive courteous, helpful and efficient customer service, from our professional sales staff at all times. All orders are treated as high priority and processed quickly.

POLICY

Our policy is to offer a comprehensive range of competitively-priced products, to all hair salons, beauty therapists and selected pharmacies, operating throughout Australia.
