For over thirty years, Jim and Renya Xydis have been at the forefront of the Australian Hairdressing Industry. From their early beginnings as apprentice hairdressers with a passion & tenacious drive for all aspects of the industry, they have built and developed their business to incorporate three of the most successful hairdressing salons in Australia. Valonz, Salon X by Renya Xydis and Renya Xydis City have since secured themselves as the most prominent editorial salons in Australia.

Since the origins of the Valonz Group, both Jim & Renya have nurtured a discreet, high profile clientele, catering to some of the world’s leading actors, actresses, designers and celebrities. With the support of their accomplished team, they have created some of the most innovative “fashion moments” both locally and internationally, including many Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar covers. Renya and her first-rate team of cut/ colourists has been responsible for hair direction and creative consultancy at numerous Australian, New York and London Fashion Week shows.
