“I will be recommending Vanilla Vibe to everyone! Rikki-Lee was so attentive and listened to my very specific requests, and made it happen. She checked with me every step of the way to make sure I was completely happy with everything. Unlike in other salons where they charge you for numerous add-ons if your hair is being difficult, I was quoted a (very reasonable) price, and it remained that exact figure, despite the extra tweaking and extra effort that Rikki-Lee put in to get my hair looking perfect. I also ended up being in the salon until after it closed but was never made to feel like I was being rushed out the door. “I had a very unpleasant and unhappy experience on Saturday 2nd July and I wasn’t going to name and shame the hairdressee or salon(just spoke of never going again.Over a few days of conversing with friends and family I must as the lack of professional customer service had me walking out feeling very average and not up to the standards of the typical hairdresser,not only did I still have grey hairs in my hair I was quoted $150 that went down to $119 for just a dye.I paid $89 as I had a $30 off text that I used.I walked out after having a sweet inexperienced girl (weekend fill in)spend most of the time on my hair after a professional hairdresser slapped on my dye the young girl did the rest and although she was burning my scalp with the hairdryer I didnt care as she was communicating with me like I was a descent human and deserved to be sitting in the Vanilla Vibe Hair Salon.When i walked up to the counter I had the hairdresser ask “Is that on credit”.I said no I will be paying cash.The hairdresser replied “oh you’re paying cash “. I think she lacked alot of professional skills and lack of human interactive skills.I will have you know that despite me earning quite alot more than the everyday hairdresser that I would never make anyone feel as though they did not fit in to where they were present and never look down on another human especially if i was getting paid for a service of any kind.If you pride yourselfs on exceptional service then put your girls through connecting with people program/training so future clients(customers) are not feeling like they got a home job on their hair and feeling crap after spending 2+ hours at a professional hair salon.I will never be coming into Vanilla Vibe ever again and have already had 15+ ladies say that they will never go there due to the treatment towards myself.However I will say that it was only one hairdresser and am purely writing this review in regards to that.”
