About Vespa Fashion

The year was 1987.  Tom had just finished High School and was going to return the suit he had hired couple days earlier for his school formal.

As he walked past this men’s boutique, he noticed this beautiful shirt in the window and decided he wanted to try it on.

While trying the shirt he was talking to the salesperson serving him, unknown to Tom at the time, the salesperson serving him was actually the owner of the store, he took a liking to Tom’s passion for fashion, so he offered Tom a job on the spot.

After working there for 3 years, tom decided he needed a new challenge, and in 1990 he went to work for The Oxford Shop, he was based in the Sydney Queen Victoria Building Store.

After learning his craft from some the best sales managers of the 70s 80s and 90s, Tom became one of the best know how sales people at Oxford Shop, with maximum sales increases every year.

Toms formula was simple, which he use to tell young staff at the time: 1- Know your product.  2- Give exceptional service to every customer, doesn’t matter who they are. 3- Always Follow up customer enquiries.

After more than 10 years at Oxford Shop, Tom ventured out and opened his own store at Westfield Liverpool in Sydney Australia, so In September 2001 Vespa Fashion was born.

From the very first week Tom had many of his existing Oxford Shop customers following him at Vespa Fashion.

At Vespa Fashion Tom has a reputation as having one of the most respected Fashion Stores in Sydney, with his suppliers and customers alike.

After Closing the Vespa Fashion Store in Liverpool in 2014, Tom had about 12 months off to work on Vespa Fashion online store.

In 2015 Vespa Fashion relaunched their onlinestore & In 2016 Vespa Fashion reopened their Liverpool store.

With almost 30 years’ experience, Vespa Fashion is centred on principals, city elegance, immaculate styling with great service & a hidden touch.

For the week & weekend Vespa Fashion is sourcing great quality European footwear & brands with softer tailoring in coats, such as using less glue and more hand stitched fusing as well as using hand-selected natural fabrics.
