Even if you’re growing your hair, it’s still important to have a regular trim every 8 to 12 weeks. If you colour or highlight your hair, it’s more likely to be damaged, so trimming the ends every 6 to 8 weeks will help it stay strong and healthy and help prevent breakage and split ends.

Use a good quality shampoo and conditioner plus a weekly hair treatment to nourish your hair and protect it.

Try to avoid shampooing your hair every day as this will dry it out, especially if you blow dry as well. If you’re scalp is oily the day after washing it, apply a dry shampoo to the roots instead of shampooing two days in a row.
