CERTIFICATES OF COMPLIANCE

All of our work complies with regulations – we do not take shortcuts to make a quick buck. Safety and reliability is ensured as we test all installation and repairs thoroughly.

All works, with a value over $500, are subject to a Compliance Certificate which carries insurance to project you, the consumer against the defective work of the plumber.

We advise that you should retain your Certificate for six years as evidence of your cover.

As well as being licensed plumbers with the Plumbing Industry Commission, we are fully covered with Public Liability insurance, Work Cover insurance and OH&S compliant.

Remember, if you get quoted a cheap price it’s probably because the Plumber isn’t legit. Unlicensed and uninsured tradespeople usually charge less and you’re taking a big risk hiring them.

GENERAL PLUMBING ISSUES

Tapware

The VPC are able to install all makes and models of taps. The extensive range of tapware that is available will cater for all types – from the luxury tapware customer to the more price savvy purchasers.

Our plumbers carry a basic range of bathroom taps, shower taps, basins taps, sink taps, laundry taps and bath taps in their vans at all times. However there is an extensive range of taps which can be viewed at our supplier’s stores including: Reece, Big Hen and Tradelink. Make your tapware selection through one of these stores, then book a time for the Victorian Plumbing Company to install it.

Toilet Leaks
If your WC is blocked or leaking we can repair or replace this for you. The Victorian Plumbing Company can carry out any remedial or replacement works on your cistern at a time which is convenient for you.

Unblocking pipes and drains
We don’t recommend DIY use of the over-the-counter/supermarket chemical solutions to common blockages. They don’t always work and if they do, it’s usually only for the short term. If you have a blocked pipe the Victorian Plumbing Company can assess the cause of the blockage and ascertain the correct way to unblock it quickly. safely and effectively.
