General Information

The creator of Villoni Boutique named her store after her daughter. Villoni herself, started to work in her late teens and learned the fashion business under the wing of her mother.

In 2005, both mother and daughter went out-side of Australia to look for different and unique designs to the Australian fashion industry. They are the original boutique store to bring Scala, BG Haute, Sherri Hill, and Alyce to Sydney Australia. They were looking for something different, and they found it! “We wanted to be more than just a boutique. We wanted to give our customers originality, exclusivity and glamour fashion. A place where they were comfortable and be at home when they came and visited us.

The shop has designs not every other store has, we offer a range of styles, colors, and designs, and even more so for plus-size woman. We’ve been around long enough to understand what woman want. We strive to do our best to ensure our customers are happy.”

STORY

Established in 1981, Villoni Boutique has become one of the most prominent evening wear fashion boutiques in Australia. Their first shop in the 80’s located in Double Bay, then moving into the exquisite building, The Queen Victoria Building for over 20 years, holding their legacy of exclusivity and originality. They’re now located in Annandale Sydney, at 137 Parramatta Road.

Clientele from all providences have shopped at Villoni Boutique for their formal gowns, plus size evening wear gowns, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, cocktails and other formal occasions.

Within the last 15 years, Villoni has sponsored many celebrities such as Kate Ceberano and Ricki Lee on “It Takes Two” Pop Star Tiffany Woods, also Mamma Mia, Anna Woods, Christine Anu and the famous (Channel Ten) Sandra Sully for
the 2008 Logie Awards, as well as TV shows such as The Biggest Loser for 2010,
So You Think You Can Dance, Wheel of Fortune, and Australia’s Next Top Model.

Sponsoring many beauty pageants since 2005. Miss Globe, Hawaii, World Australia, Universe Australia and Miss Earth Australia.

During 2006, Villoni Boutique became widely known from top Australian Magazines, such as Bride to Be, Cosmopolitan, Dolly Magazine, Comso Bride, Wedding Magazine, even being featured on Wheel of Fortune.

Their designs became such a popular demand all-around Australia, and even overseas! The creators started to deliver to the demands, and supplied their designs to boutiques all around Australia and New Zealand. That’s when VDS Fashion was born, for more information to carry their designs.

“Terrible experience. No respect for customers opinion, all they want is money. I was there to try on dresses to check what styles would suit my body type, so that when formal time comes i wont be stressed. Nothing wrong with shopping around in advanced, but this lady kicked us out saying “unless you are buying right now we can’t serve you”, which proves that all they are interested in is money. I wasn’t about to buy an $800 dress on the spot, and left straight away with no desire to ever return. Her distasteful attitude, and the unwelcoming atmosphere made the experience horrible, and I would NOT recommend this store to anybody.”

They looked like they hated their jobs and only wanted to milk the money out of me. They just stood there and didn’t offer me help nor ask me what i was looking for. Horrible”
