About Us

Virginia studied remedial massage at the College of Natural Therapies in 1991 and then continued her studies the following year with the Certificate of Oriental Massage which incorporated Shiatsu, Reflexology and Acupressure under the guidance of Master Zhang Hao from the Chi-Chinese Healing College.

Virginia then went on to study the benefits of massage for Parkinsons Disease. She was on the list of preferred massage therapists for Parkinsons Society (NSW) and massaged many of the society’s constituents in their homes. She travelled to London and met with the Researchers of Parkinsons Society UK and brought back valuable information so that Parkinsons’ Australia could start up their own research facility. This was later to be known as the Brain Bank.

Virginia continued with her massage education as a requirement of her membership with AMT (NSW) Ltd (Association of Massage Therapists). She holds a Senior Level One membership.

In 2010 she again studied under the guidance of Master Zhang Hao to do a bridging course for Remedial Massage, as required for all massage therapist with over 12 years experience, by Health Funds Australia.

In 2011 Virginia travelled to China, with Chi-Chinese Healing College and 5 other colleagues to study in one of the teaching hospitals of Shanghai. A very exciting and rewarding experience. Virginia worked with babies with cerebal palsy and adults who had suffered stroke, herniated discs, diabetes and neck spasm.
